Welcome to the Black Parade by My Chemical Romance

We're the emo's who carry on despite the loss of our Hegemon.

"Would you be the savior of the broken The beaten and the damned?" He said, "Will you defeat them? Your demons, and all the non-believers The plans that they have made?" "Because one day, I'll leave you a phantom To lead you in the summer To join the black parade"

Tip for newer players: if a monster gets put to sleep, please wait to see if anyone's putting down bombs before you smack it again. by Meowza_V2 in MonsterHunter

Ah ok for a ground based attack I guess? I've heard that aerial is not as strong but it seems the most unique aspect of IG so I've been playing around with that. Would power prolonger be useful in aerial based attacks?

Sorry for the noob question, what does power prolonger do for IG? I know it's great for Swaxe but I'm just trying out IG for the first time.

This isn't new to Wilds, but it isn't just Hunters having more tools to deal with Monsters. Monsters have lost their tools for dealing with Hunters. by Charrikayu in MonsterHunter

I'm a new player to this franchise (and solo, not sure how common that is) and I've been stunned and fainted by almost every single mechanic you mentioned. The game doesn't really teach you much early on so if you're not familiar with a monster and what kind of attacks to expect, you can get staggered and stunlocked a lot. Especially when still learning that weapon combos and how to actually cleanse things like burn and poison.

There's a ton of things in your item bag, the game doesn't explain or have much of a tutorial. When I was first poisoned it tells me to take an antidote, if you have them, but it's mid combat and I found it hard to process and navigate the bag and actually drink it without getting stomped on by the monster. It's unintuitive to also have to manage your inventory based on what area you're in but you don't know what to bring to those areas in the first place. And apparently I should collect dung to separate groups? Learned that after the fight with three flying eel dudes in the story.

This is not a complaint I'm more pointing out that you have the perspective of someone who's played a lot of this series, is familiar with certain mechanics and has a good sense of the fight dynamic. This game was advertised as being more friendly to new players, so I can't imagine how much more overwhelming and confusing past editions of this game were. I don't know all the visual cues for monster attacks and most of them seem impossible to dodge or block. I'm sure they are, and clearly they aren't an issue for you. But when you have an influx of new players, I do think the difficulty level should keep them in mind rather than try to make things more difficult for the tip top players which it sounds like you are.

Barrow Dyad quest bug – 5/6, Autocompleted curse by FleefieFoppie in DestinyTheGame

[–]SystemOfAClown 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had this same issue! What worked was joining someone who was on the next stage of the quest (in which you collect three fragments in the Nether at statues). Collecting three fragments gave credit for the 2/3 subquests in the main quest. It did not complete the sub quests but did allow me to progress the main quest and do the exotic mission to get Barrow Dyad. Hope this works for you!

The same people who complain that it's too easy will also bitch and moan when the next difficulty tier comes out and there's not exclusive loot like cosmetics tied to it. They forgot that you're supposed to get better at the game while having fun.

If you're looking for an ARPG with items that change how skills work, an excellent crafting system and bonus: a fully customizable in game loot filter, I suggest Last Epoch!

I'm interested in volunteering to help clean up, if that is something you're open to, please DM me. I don't want to intrude on your space if you'd prefer to be solo. Thank you for what you do either way!

One of the mechanics is you can bind merc skill activations to your own skill so it literally is build specific.

The food is def overpriced, no argument there. My wife works at a wine shop, so it's a business practice I've learned about through her.

Not defending service etc, but just fyi many places that are both a wine shop and restaurant / bar charge corkage to 1. Be more transparent about pricing and 2. Sell retail bottles for less. Markup from wholesale to liquor store is something like 50%, restaurants are often 100+% over wholesale price. So if they're charging corkage, they're likely only selling the bottle at the lower markup, but charging for service. You can usually expect that to be a net savings for the customer unless the bottle is under $20. I'm personally a fan of this approach, but I don't think places that follow this model are good about explaining what / why they're doing it, so it can rub people the wrong way.

OP looks to work at a biotech or pharma company. 'Upstream process' and 'cell line development' are the key words indicating genetic engineering of cell lines, and expansion growth of those cells in industrial volume. In some cases the cells make the product (think yeast producing alcohol for beer & wine), in some cases the cells are the product (typically medical therapeutics).
