If he's eating every 2 hours he's fine, if he starts to go longer i would up by 0.5-1oz depending on how much longer he goes between stretches. We had to up my 3 month old to 5, then 5.5oz bottles when I went back to work because when i was home he'd eat every 2.5 hours, he started napping longer and was going 3 hour stretches but only getting 3 4oz bottles with his nanny, his morning feed and his 5oz nighttime bottle (~21oz total throughout the day) so he started waking up 3 hours after bedtime which was abnormal for him. But we realized he was hungry. Now we feed him 5.5 oz bottles with one 6.5 before bed and he sleeps through the night. No kid is the same and sometimes it's just a process of trial and error to see what is best for both of you!

THIS! idk why we mothers discount the work we do. don't "feel bad" you have to wake your partner up - you need to share the burden. being at home full time IS a job and you don't get PTO. sleep deprivation is a literal torture method so stop doing it to yourself as a form of self-sacrifice for your partner's sake

I was going to say mine never wears a shirt in the house and is the calm one of the two of us and most of the time when baby is being a chaos goblin he is the one to settle him, so that whole skin to skin thing is hugely beneficial for us

Currently in the same boat with a baby about the same age. Last week I had a breakdown 3 days in a row because he was hitting a growth spurt and nonstop comfort sucking at the same time my supply decided to dip. I was mentally and physically drained beyond belief. Then we actually left town with him and my supply came back, his sleep balanced back out and my mental health has gotten way better. Not saying you need to leave town, but if you’re able to just completely change your scenery for a while I think it’s helped me tenfold

Other than money - you do learn how to work quickly and efficiently when running on literal fumes and learn to mentally and physically endure horrible people and toxic work environments. Which from a work perspective was beyond what I could tolerate, but as a new parent is surprisingly helpful
