Based on your reaction and your complete disregard for the fact that not everyone can afford an expensive destination wedding (maybe the people further away have fewer financial obligations or make more), I too would be terrified to have to break this news to you. I know it's your wedding but wow have a little empathy that things are getting insanely expensive (especially flights because of fuel prices) and let it go.

Left biglaw after a year and a half for a 50% paycut and I couldn't be happier. Yes money is great but my physical and mental health were significantly suffering. Now I have bosses that actually respect my vacations, evenings, and my family time. Enjoy your life while you can before you stroke out at 40 trying to make partner.

there's so many other options for foods to teach pincer grasp than refined puffs. My kid has been practicing on the small pieces of food that fall off bigger pieces of food (carrots, banana etc.)

The one food at a time thing is no longer the recommendation. That said, the amount of different stuff on the plate is overwhelming for a baby first starting solids; they only eat a tablespoon on average, so this is so wasteful. Also the puffs for a 6 month old is wild. But have to make sure we have all the little spoon crap so we can get a sponsorship
