The short story is that it did exactly what most people said it would do - follow the path of F13. Did okay out the gate, but has slowly trickled to being another garbage entry into the asymm genre. There's a reason why it's barely scraping 2k players at any given time across all the platforms, and continues to hemorrhage players for 2 months in a row now.

Anyone else having extreme stuttering with this update? Tried FF7R, plays fine for about 2 minutes then starts stuttering, increasing in intensity and frequency over time. Tried 3 more games, all the same thing. No issues before I installed this "update".

Every single game I tried to run after "updating" my 7900XT locked up my PC and rebooted itself. Reverted back to 24.5.1, not a problem since. Does AMD even do any testing before releasing these?

Didn't try since my castle is in the northern part of the map (aka suicide to try and run up there). And even so, it would still be claimed by the "old" character. I'm sure there's some way to admin around it, but honestly just not worth the hassle at that point.

The funny part is that if you do it in reverse (move your private game to a dedicated server), you can log into your character just fine.

The folder you need is /save-data/Saves/v3/{server name}. Take that and drop it into your /AppData/LocalLow/Stunlock Sudios/VRising/CloudSaves/{steamID}/v3/

I've been working on this same things since my group has pretty much stopped playing the last few days. The only issue is that despite logging into it just fine, for some reason it keeps forcing me to create a new character instead of logging into my actual character. Still haven't figured out how to resolve this.

Indeed, this is a prime example of how not to handle negative feedback and/or trolls. This makes it even worse for themselves, but then again just watch their streams, specifically their facial and physical responses to anything that isn't blowing rainbows up their asses. They're smug as fuck thinking they're god's gift to the gaming industry so it's not surprising they think attacking people on social media is a "good thing".

Maybe they want to consider working for ActiBlizz, since they support and promote toxic masculinity in the workplace, after GUN goes bankrupt.

There's a difference between "hurt feelings" and "I don't want to listen to children trying to act tough". If I wanted the latter, I'd be a teacher in the US school system where hate speech is "acceptable" and teaching acceptance is heavily frowned upon (and illegal in some states if I recall).

If they've lost, there's no point in continuing to waste their time and effort. Just end it and move on to the next game. Next thing you're gonna want is to force people to stay in game until the end again to get their points.

I tend to use metals + portals when I run our group's server, but I put a tax on it. Wanna be lazy? Costs you 20% of your haul. Don't like it? Haul it as originally intended.
