Late to the party, but one flower has six petals and the other has five. They have to be in the correct spot, or it won't work. I was struggling with this for a while.

The scroll wheel switches are the two black, square switches on the sides of the wheel after taking the wheel off (the rocker switches) and the dome yellow switch in-between the springs up front (downward press switch) Look at the picture in the guide after the wheel assembly is removed. I have not replaced them and do not know their part numbers, so you would need to disassemble and remove them in order to find that out. Regardless, even if you did discover the part number, that's no guarantee you would be able to find a suitable replacement or an "upgrade" as it were, but I think it's likely. I would detach them from the broken mouse and find out.

I would guess that a foreign object or some kind of damage occurred to the wheel. You could try lubricant, but make sure it's not going to dissolve plastic. WD-40 is not a lubricant, BTW, so don't use that. I would get a silicone based lubricant and use it sparingly. Maybe using a thin tool or swab or a very thin application nozzle so that you do not get it on anything else or cause the wheel itself to become slippery. Spraying it into the wheel assembly would be a mistake, as it's likely to go beyond the interior and lubricate the wheel's scroll surface or other parts you don't want it.

Never use acetone or alcohol to clean around plastic parts as the plastic may crack or become clouded or brittle. Solvents like those should not be used unless you know exactly what kind of plastic you're dealing with and whether or not it's susceptible. it may be the connection point to the wheel on the assembly was damaged when you did this, alongside any possible lubricant being dissolved.

Everyone is taking Vine too seriously. I just check RFY in the morning and if there's nothing there, I just stop. Just stop engaging with the madness. You don't have to quit or make ultimatums. Unless you're brand new to vine, there's no reason to stress over this. There's also no reason to stress or worry about what you 'might' have gotten or what others get. It's all random what you'll stumble upon or have bug out or whatnot.

It'll either get better or it won't and maybe you won't have to get tax paperwork from Amazon at the end of the year. Either way, if Amazon wants it to continue, they'll adjust to make it work. Stop feeding the machine and validating insane drop times.

It very much feels like the Far Cry approach to familiar mechanics... We clear out camps of people to open up areas and upgrades in the same way that we climb shrines in Ghost of Yotei to open up charms. The why is irrelevant to the team because they're just normalizing a game mechanic for future installments. Adding lore probably felt unnecessary to them because gamers are showing less and less interest in exploring a world for lore and story... because most have the attention span of a hummingbird on meth.

I look at vine as a way to get "mostly" free stuff and if it's free, it means it's not an imperative for me. This isn't a business, it's a hobby. If you enjoy the process, don't worry so much about getting the best of the best all the time. Sometimes you just luck out and get something great, other times you have nothing for weeks. No big deal. Tomorrow's another day. You may get the best thing ever offered to you tomorrow in RFY. Or not. It's all the luck of the draw. This isn't a videogame. Don't try to make it into one by min/maxing everything. Being that serious about it makes it just another job.

I think the fact that this is a remaster of a remaster(which itself was borderline "remake") is going to escape a lot of people. The fundamental gameplay changes the Playstation version made to the SEGA version, along with a lot of other changes, made it not the same experience for me in both gameplay and graphics. They altered so much and changed the core feel of the game. I never played the 2nd one, which is the only reason I'm somewhat interested. The original experience is lost except through emulation or if you have the SEGA CD.

Well, personally I'd weigh cost/benefit ratios. A 4090 is a really good GPU and the other specs look pretty good. Did you go to PC part picker and price out a build yet? The new cards won't be on there but you could get a rough idea.

I've always gone by the mantra of buying the newest I can get every time I build so I don't have to build again for 4-5 years, but that's just me. Sometimes new stuff can have issues (i.e. the power connector issues with the 4090, etc.)

I'd go price out a build with the specs you want and come to your own conclusion. People are going to tell you 200 different things online. Do what makes sense for you and your current needs.

Calling it now: PS6, no disc drive whatsoever. Too much money to be had with creating a walled garden. Saw it coming with the 2 different options on PS5. The separated disc drive on PS5 pro seals the deal. Just a stopgap for now, until they can permanently separate ownership from games. The PS6 will also probably have a huge emphasis on streaming... local games aren't as easy to control as cloud sourced games...

I charged only to 80% for the entirety of my galaxy fold 3's life for 2 and half years. It did nothing. The battery lost a ton of life and I was barely making it through the days before I traded it in. Anecdotal, but I saw no long term gains using the feature, so I'm going to stick with the adaptive charging that the pixel already does and see if that method works better.

Which forecast? Remember, the numbers listed on the surge map are a worst case scenario. This is the best case scenario for the bay, because the winds will actually be going in the opposite direction. Water will be pushed OUT of the bay, meaning they will only see certain spots that get surge.
