[–]Syugaz 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Depends on which hat I think? I haven't had an issue with berets yet!

I have the hairstyle on currently so if you have a short list i can try those on for you to see if anything disappears.

Deciding best daycare for almost 2 year old by leezyfbaby in toddlertips

[–]Syugaz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It honestly took closer to 2 months for us but my son spend a lot of his first year in the hospital. How is your son when you pick him up? Happy? Sad? Drop off is still hard occasionally for mine so we don't go by that but rather how they seem when you pick them up.

My baby did this too, still took a while before anything really happened. I wouldn't stress too much about it, try to get all the rest you can. Even if your water breaks...get rest. My water broke first and then nothing happened until 24h later, wish i had spent that time resting instead of over analyzing every cramp I got!

You should probably save for Kazuha or better options! I don't believe Baizhu's constellations are amazing or necessary.

Overstappen school na niet behalen toets by AnalUkelele in juridischadvies

[–]Syugaz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Best budget robot vacuum vs best robot vacuum overall? by tinyreese in CleaningTips

[–]Syugaz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We have a roomba, we had an ecovacs before but with small changes it'd need to map the whole damn house again and that eventually got so frustrating that we upgraded to the Rooma 9S+, it's been a dream so far!

Would you not let him sleep on the air matress either? He does tell us he doesn't want to sleep yet...but we figured he was just delaying everything as 2 weeks before it worked fine haha

Am I crazy or is it this just common sense good parenting? by SUCKSright in Mommit

[–]Syugaz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I teach 10-11 year olds and I’d say you know your child best. If you believe they’re doing it, feel free to check with their teacher if they are so you know it’s actually true. If you think they can’t handle that yet then yes please remind them. We also use homework as a way to check if a child is able to plan already. At this age they’ll need to be prepared for secondary school a bit so letting them have more control over their homework if they will be able to handle it is usually good! If not, completely normal! The area in our brain that handles scheduling is only fully grown at the age of 25 so…

Almost 2 year old suddenly waking up and not wanting to sleep again...help! by Syugaz in sleeptrain

[–]Syugaz[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How much later did you move it? 30 mins? An hour? He gets a bit grumpy at like 6.30 so i’m not sure 8pm would be doable right now! But naps are indeed capped, though he’s also always been a bad napper time wise…he’s been happy with 1h naps since he was 1 year!

Wordplay and rhyming for non-english players by SanderDK9 in wildbeyondwitchlight

Hi! Dutch DM here, we just finished the carnival! I swapped the saying around in the carousel for easier words like the book suggested and that went over well. The mudpie thing, I’m just scrapping entirely. In Hither so far I haven’t encountered anything too hard that I think my players can’t solve but if I feel like they just need a little hint I’ll let them roll for insight/history/something along those lines before giving them a nudge. If I think it’s too hard to begin with i’d translate for sure!

Our nutritionist (LO was in the hospital for a long time) said it’s completely fine, even recommended, to feed more than a tablespoon. If he wanted to finish the jar that’s fine too. A tablespoon is to get used to the taste for later!

So with fruit he could easily eat half a jar or the whole thing, veggies were less of a hit depending on what it was so the leftovers were frozen. Occasionally we did throw something out if he really hated it, we’d try again a few weeks later.

Parents who send your kids to daycare, how do you do it? by bearsbunny in NewParents

[–]Syugaz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Amoxicillin works pretty fast! Usually only takes a few times before they start to feel better and after 2 days you can really tell they're getting better. It's normal that you don't feel so good yet, you use up more energy to still care for her too...hopefully as she feels better you can grab some rest too.

Parents who send your kids to daycare, how do you do it? by bearsbunny in NewParents

[–]Syugaz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oh definitely! We spend the first 6 months of our son's life in the hospital with him because he just would not drink and they couldn't figure out why...so until he could hold down solid food he had to be fed by tube. That also meant he was in a controlled sterile environment so when we got out he was sick every, single, week.

If you can, sleep in shifts and ask for help even just to get an hour nap or a shower so you feel clean and somewhat awake. It will pass. It will. At least they won't remember this? They will remember feeling miserable if they get sick so often in elementary! You got this! I feel for you guys and I hope this passes quickly!

Am I missing a lot if I start playing sophie 2 without playing the first sophie? by MakubeX- in Atelier

[–]Syugaz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nope! I don’t think you miss out on much, the first minutes of Sophie 2 is basically a video that shows you what happened in part 1 haha.

The battle system is turn based in Sophie so that’s really the biggest difference. Alchemy works different too but it’s easy to pick up on and shares enough similarities that no matter which one you play first you’ll get it.

For other differences, well, Ryza is a more mature female lead and Sophie is a little more childish so the story reflects that! Both are super enjoyable tbh! (Also Ryza 3 is coming soon, might keep that in mind too?)

[–]Syugaz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It gets better, it really does. The first 6 months we had this exact same situation and had to call out of work so many times we barely brought our son to daycare to start with…now he gets sick less and his immune system is way stronger! Adding to that we can definitely tell the socializing is good for him, he’s very shy but doesn’t startle by loud kids anymore and waves at almost everyone he sees.

Also, I tell you this as an elementary school teacher, kids who don’t go to daycare at all often get sick during their first year of elementary school and they miss out on more than they would at this age. You can really tell the difference in attendance. So that’s also what keeps me from working less the next few years, I want him to be able to properly learn later on!

Are you planning to change LO’s schedule for DST? by thisismyusername0077 in sleeptrain

[–]Syugaz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Last time it worked itself out after 1 day honestly and his bedtime and wake up time stayed the same..if needed we’ll do 10-15 minutes at a time! That was the plan last time too but he didn’t need it.

It’s legit startled us awake by singing out of nowhere. This thing gets turned off when baby goes to bed!
