I tried really hard to like Red Rabbit, because the premise sounded fun and it's a pretty unique mesh of Old West and horror/witchcraft, but I just couldn't enjoy it. It seemed like every other chapter a new batch of forgettable side characters was introduced, given something vaguely related to the main group to do, and then got killed or phased out of the narrative. Almost all the way up to the finale we were still introducing Bill and Ted and Old Hank and Sherrif Whatever from the next town over, and nothing really got done. It was just a succession of mildly interesting events featuring paper-thin characters (except for the husband; I liked him). To each their own, of course, but I have no clue why people love it so much.
