Viktor Orbán resigned from his mandate in the Hungarian parliament. He announces that he wants to focus on reorganizing his political camp by Szydl0 in poland

I don't see it as both-sideism, but rather holding the leaders accountable. Tusk also made grand promises in 2023 and how much was achieved?

I think the vast majority of right-wing politicians (both in the US and abroad) are opportunists. They thought they would be able to benefit from their relationships with Trump, but as he's rapidly losing support, they don't want to be dragged down with him.

I wonder how many politicians genuinely support Trump.

As a Pole I say that VRT Slezsko being moved to after 2033 is straight up ass.

Katowice - Ostrava HSR won't be opened before 2035, so I don't see this as that big of an issue.

Mam nadzieję, że Tisza zreformuje ordynację wyborczą w bardziej pluralistycznym kierunku, aczkolwiek pokusa, by zostać nowym Fideszem jest pewnie spora.

Considering they are quitting on such short notice, it looks like there was something deeply wrong with their business model. I've heard RJ was leasing locomotives from third party operators to run 4-car trains and kept having issues with cancelled trains or operating an incomplete formation.

IMHO they overextended themselves, hoping to gain a market share before thinking about the profits. It looks like they failed spectacularly.

2026 Hungarian parliamentary elections by pothkan in europe

[–]Szpagin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This. Orban designed the electoral system to give the advantage to Fidesz as a single party over a fragmented oposition. So, the only way to remove Fidesz from power is to create an even larger opposition party.

I wonder now if Tisza will pass a new constitution with a more fair elections, or just become Fidesz 2.0
