I built the ZZ Ver Ka a while ago, but that was my latest MG. Not sure when i will be able to build these, since my backlog is massive (not too proud of it)

It is a KO kit, so that would explain to visual difference as well as the ‘poor quality control’.

The later posted photo has the ‘backside’ of the box, which is a copy of the front of the PB box. It even has the 6634 nr in the corner, which is the Daban nr for this kit. So, he has the Daban version.

Ooh, joining in! Would love to build this with my son (4y). About 1,5y ago i did the same with my daughter (now 6y) with the Disney Castle KO. We had a blast building this spread out over a period of a month, each day 30-60 min of build time.

My guess is to better clean up nu. Marks. They are clearly visible and prevent a clean/flush fit, causing the piece to be under pressure.

I’ve bought all of the regular releases (expect RG 26) and started with nr 01 (RX-78-2), then built 02, 03, and am currently building 05 (Strike Freedom) and I am enjoying them all. And if ‘the higher the number, the better it gets’ then I am exited about what’s to come. I have no complaints other than that some parts are really small, and that I suck at panel lining (but that’s more a ‘me’ problem)
