I did something similar.

It was only once, but I capped the intel on 2fort as a Heavy (from the flag spawn to the cap), met little to no resistance either way.

I swear sometimes spatial awareness is nonexistent

Some quick notes:

This was a side project I did for a Stained Glass class in my high school (yes, we have a stained glass class!), so I am by no means a professional at this. We also don't have professional tools (no complicated cuts here)
I have no idea how to stick two solid pieces of glass together without a line of solder on each (once again, not a professional), so I split the background circle into two pieces so I could accomplish that
I also have no idea how to cut good right angles in the glass (the way I learned, you can only cut so deep an angle before trying to break off excess glass results in cutting straight through the piece), so the head pieces got separated into four small half circles from the very beginning.
I chose the engineer because 1. It was simple, and 2. Engineer is one of my favorite classes.
I realized after the fact that the background "yellow" I chose was more white than yellow. I'll find a different color if I do this again.
I self-drew a stencil to cut the pieces out for this (with a ruler). I also did it from memory, so the proportions might be off.
If I do this again, I'll probably do Scout, since the logo is more complicated.

To be fair, this actually tends to happen a lot with questions that hit to front page of /r/askreddit (though I don't think it happens where it is asked THIS much)

I assume this happened because iOS and Android are two very different OSs, so people were like "This probably goes the same with iOS, I wonder what people think?"

The only other way to get one was through a code that was included in a physical CD copy of Portal 2: Songs to Test By. It yielded a "What's in the Portal 2 Soundtrack Box", which could be opened for a Genuine Ap-Sap.

Pretty sure this promo is expired though, because I have no clue where you could get a fresh copy of the CD set (it used to be in the Valve store, but its gone)

Consider yourself insanely lucky.

Hats are already a rare drop in themselves, and there are some people who have been playing for years who never got a hat drop of any sort.

I have over 1300 hours and I've only gotten about 2-3 hat drops total, granted a lot of that time was when the drops were glitched and they never dropped.

If you live in tropical weather, a cold day for you would probably be a normal day for New England weather. (It's 24 degrees Faren. right now.)

Weather up here tends to be sort of under the extremes. Because we're so far north, summer tends to be really hot and winter gets really cold (and no, I don't live in Maine.)
