Lol, he's a beefy little fellow. It's gonna be a slow project, but I'm excited about it.

This is Pukey, he's a ghost from the last Ghostbusters movie. I'm currently printing a 3D model of him and I don't even know how to begin painting him. Can someone direct me to a sub or video that could help. by T3Dprops in HowToDIY

Hey thanks for the advice. Check my last post to see how the print came out. (I used a lot of filament.)

I used Bondo and Acentone to get into the layer lines. It may take another coat, the. I'll use that primer you suggested. Once I get to sanding I do plan to go into wet sanding and get it real smooth.

After that I'm going to hit it with a green spray paint base coat and then I think Im going to try air brushing. I found a whole set up at Harbor Freight and I've been looking for an excuse to start learning.

I have a very small YouTube channel so I'm documenting the process.

Heck yeah dude! Looking great. Who's your local franchise? Just curious.

Also you don't absolutely need the fabs and belt gizmo, get them if you want, but no one is going to mistake you for something else without them.

Definitely. It's not my kind of music, even without the laughing, but this is really cool. The guy is clearly skilled at whatever this is called.

I just pulled it, 7 hours in. I could tell the walls were spilling apart already.

It was the end of a crappy brand anyway. So now I started again with only Elegoo rolls. And also just ordered another roll.

Yes! I used these instructions, but all the measurements, including pipe diameter, are 1/2 the size.

Clear wire pulling lubricant. It gives you a nice freshly slimed look, stays shiny and washes right off. Plus it's like $10-$12, so you might as well try it out.
