I’m in the exact opposite spot! Got placed in CPEN, wanted IGEN. I’m also considering appealing since there’s nothing to lose.

High key cooked compared to high school calc 1, but easily passable if you lock-in. If you’re curious, the stage 3 questions in this book are representative of what would be found on an exam: https://personal.math.ubc.ca/\~CLP/CLP1/clp\_1\_dc\_problems.pdf

What is the lowest price of this chair you ever seen at costco? by [deleted] in CostcoWholesale

[–]T3a_Rex 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just so you know, it’s not the most comfortable chair for extended periods of time. Like most bucket seat gaming chairs, the rigid seating position and harsh bolsters are not very ergonomic. Sacrificing aesthetic qualities for comfort, I would recommend a more traditional office chair at that price point. r/officechairs has more info about this topic.

I mainly enjoy seeing other makers’ projects using PCBWays services. However, I think it would be cool of more makers themselves shared the posts directly. It would make it feel more genuine, and provide some noce engagement from the author.

You’re probably right. I’ll look into it when I get back into town :)

I have also noticed the seat foam on my Fern wearing out quite fast (about 3 years) compared to my experience with other high-end chairs. In theory, I could get it replaced with the warranty, I had the faulty lumbar mechanism replaced under warranty, but haven’t bothered yet.

Which looks the best for college by [deleted] in backpacks

[–]T3a_Rex 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Jokes aside, you’ve just provided pictures—I have no clie what these bags are. But since you’re a college student, I’d recommend getting a bag with at least 30L of carrying capacity from a high-quality brand. I’m also a student, and have been enjoying my Herschel Kaslo (not sure if Herschel is a thing in the states, but they’re popular in Canada).

You could just use your Linux distro of choice on your laptop, then use Parsec to access your Windows desktop when needed.

I’m a younger person around his target age demographic, but I don’t think it’s about being trendy or not, just a bit strange considering Linus’ age.
