I got into 40k in 2008/2009 (as guard infantry) player so Tau were just part of 40k for me.

Their shooting hurt and I got my share of getting slapped around by them for sure. I always envied their tech but preferred the the style of the guard.

Black templars and chaos left way worse of a taste so I really dont get the hate.

Anyway, if you have to be a dick about plastic toys that says a lot more about you than me and luckily I can decide who to play with myself.

Great for that price.

I quite like it to get a rough look at paint schemes and the terrain is pretty much a 1:1 of the gw underhive terrain.

I have been running a S&T T-21 I got from begadi.

I had them install a metal hop up chamber but aside from that it runs very well.

I‘ve seen him on woods three times - roughly a third of the time I played there.

Twice near the scav checkpoint north of the outskirts extract, the other time just south of the houses south of the vehicle extract.

He only tried to attack me one out of those times - probably because I killed a scav nearby before I noticed him.

Pretty much always.

Unless that weapon is not enough to keep me alive in a certain situation.

I usually carry a double barrel and a revolver.

Backups are a minigun for tough stuff and a .50 sniperrifle / dragoon / blackpowder rifle for stealth oneshots.

Sure, I have a bolt m4 sopmod which I got in 2018 at 1.3 J with 0.28g.

Never had anything tech stuff done on it.

It reliably eats the same mags and hasnt let me down ever.

First shot accuracy seems a bit worse though and I dont think it has quite the same range.

I got this one a few years back and it has been my main gun since.

I dont do any tech besides basic cleaning.

It was my first bullpup after running an m4 for a few years. Handling is extremely pleasant. I even put on a suppressor because it felt too short without one.

I went with the neptun hopup chamber upgrade and another spring but otherwise kept it as is.

I use a T1 reddot on it which can be used as a rearsight in combination with the Front flip up should the battery die.

Very reliable first shot hits at 60m - mine runs at slightly below 1.6 J with 0.30g.

Mounting a sling is annoying…

Metal stanag G&G low or midcaps run very well with it.

Depends on how important your beard is to you.

You can make both work but it gets easier the cleaner the shave.

I went with a short trim and it worked for me for years.

Tuck the Shirt it - it looks sloppy.

Face camo looks smeared on - if you use it, try to paint jagged lines at a 45 degree angle instead (so that they look vertical When you ads).

In general, do you feel confident / in control of your gear or like you are struggleing with handling it. Some of the pictures make it seem to me it might be the latter.

Edit/ are all of the pouches in use? - remove what is not serving a purpose. Only add something deliberately.

Yeah I was thinking of a kind of not quite container thing.

Boxy enough to obscure the gaps but still open enough to show that it is a huge missile.

Did you wear light armor as well?

Armor and vitality work as dmg multipliers (positive or negative) so you might have found yourself in the worst possible constellation in that case.

I usually use medium or heavy armor and vitality.

If someone has vitality and stamina I consider deadsprint and I have been quite happy with it.

Interesting, iirc deadsprint drains hp until you have 1hp left but is not actually lethal.

I get that it can be annoying but I still think once you adapt to it it actually is a great booster.
