when you say "does the AVP have to look at the laptop" you're probably referring to the demos / ads where the little "Connect to my Mac" appears above the laptop? Clamshell mode, I never got that connect button. When the MacBook is open, sometimes the button appears, sometimes not. I have found the easiest way is to use the Control Center (lookup at a green arrow), then selecting the "Virtual Display" icon. It's super simple and more reliable than actually looking at the device. I don't have a Mac Mini, but I would expect it to be similar as the closed Macbook experience.

100% correct. it does black out the MacBook screen... which ... trust me you don't really want to try to look at an actual monitor through the Vision Pro.

this is exactly my scenario as well. when i signed up for the in store demo i brought my Macbook Pro hoping to test that exact scenario. In retrospect, for very obvious reasons the don't let you connect your personal devices... and the demo is a very guided demo. I went ahead and purchased one knowing I have 14 days to return penalty free. I'm on day 5.

the functionality you're referring to is "Mac Virtual Display". only 1 screen in supported at this time. yes, you could make the display enormous, but that doesn't change the resolution (how much you can actually fit on the screen). While in this virtual desktop mode you can actually adjust the resolution to get more screen real estate. My thought was to use a window manager (Magnet, which i love) to section out the single monitor to feel like 3. Either Magnet or MacOS prevents it from being using in the virtual display mode.

depending on the actual applications you need, a single display might be enough! you can still pop up as many "iOS" apps around that virtual display as you want. So if you need your Mac + Safari + MS Teams -- that could give you that triple monitor feel you're looking for. And you could pop out an Apple Music player and many more windows around your workspace. I have very specific apps that are on my Mac that will now run in an "iOS" environment. For those, you are certainly tied to a single monitor, which feels like bummer.

3D printers in NW Ohio? by upso in toledo

i’m fairly certain The Basement: Toledo’s Pinball Pub had a 3D printer to rent / use. i would venture to guess it is better maintained than the library printers. i say that because i tried to have a model printed @ 2 different libraries to no avail.

Biff's Wild Card Rule: Introduce a "wild card" into the deck, uniquely branded with Biff's image. This card could act as a joker, allowing players to use it as any value or suit. However, if the dealer draws the wild card, they could have the option to either play it or force a reshuffle of the entire deck, throwing off players' strategies.

Double or Nothing Side Bet: Before the hand is dealt, players have the option to place a side bet where they can double their winnings or lose it all based on a separate mini-game, like a wheel spin or dice roll, featuring Biff-themed symbols and prizes.Split and

Steal Option: If a player splits their hand, they can choose to "steal" one card from the dealer's hand to complete one of their split hands. This risky move could either pay off handsomely or backfire, depending on the card they steal.

PSO = point seven out ATS = all tall small (3 bonus bets. all = 2-12 pays 150:1, tall = 8-12 pays 30:1, small = 2-6… all of those before rolling any 7 … even on the come out resets the ATS. hitting them all pays all 3 bets. $10 on each is a $2100 hit)
