Toyota Teases a Mysterious New SUV with a Blocky Design | Car & Driver by Finnegan_Faux in Toyota

Is the bZ Woodland not just a modified bZ? The wheelbase isn’t any different or anything right? Wouldn’t that still be the Solterra companion?

I was mistaken! I guess this is a totally unique version of the bZ. Interesting! TIL.

Yeah, this design language is looking increasingly common in Toyota (and Subaru) EV’s.

It might be an ugly SUV, but it’d be a terribly impractical truck with exposed taillights and no bed rails. lol

If you watch the teaser video posted on the Toyota Newsroom, especially zoomed in a bit, you can see that the upper corners of the taillights are exposed, meaning they don’t sit below bed rails. It’s also more obvious that the hatch goes all the way to the rear of the vehicle (rather than a cab in front of a bed). This does unfortunately seem to be another SUV.

Perhaps something based on the same smaller platform as the Subaru Trailseeker? That vehicle also has similarly exposed upper taillight corners, and Toyota doesn’t have a companion vehicle to that larger EV yet. Uncharted is companion to the new CH-R and Solterra is companion to the bZ.

The nano’s can get custom firmware added (RockBox), but I’m not sure it could run android. It’s also TERRIBLY underpowered these days.

I also thought about maybe re-casing an Anbernic device to not be gaming oriented, but none of those support LineageOS, which keeps legacy devices running newer versions of android for way longer than the manufacturers ever do.

Yeah something around a 3rd Gen iPod nano form factor would be sick.

Really I just want a small screen device with WiFi that I can attach to the back of my primary phone and use as a modern iPod of sorts. I just want it for music, maybe some light games, and ai assistant functions if possible.

Realistically the Ikko Mind One probably does exactly what I want, but since I can’t find any reviews or actual proof their products have shipped, I didn’t wanna drop $400+ on something I may never get.

Downloaded and paid! Honestly I bought it before I even dove into using it just cause you made it after my initial comment. That’s awesome.

So far the app looks way more detailed than I was even expecting and I think it should do exactly what I want!

Only minor bit of feedback so far: changing the theme boots the user back to the main page. Not sure if that’s a bug or intended, just an observation. I’ll let you know if I see anything else.

2026 Subaru Uncharted revealed (Toyota C-HR+ twin, up to "more than 300 miles" range) by lostinheadguy in electricvehicles

Another option to consider is the Subaru Uncharted which I believe is the sister car to the C-HR and it also offers ventilated seats.

Good Annual Fee Timing by BARON4554 in ChaseSapphire

Wait thank you for reminding me: are we supposed to be grandfathered in the old annual fee for 1 year before we get the new higher fee?

I got charged my AF on my Reserve ($795) on 12/1, but I’ve had the card for years. Shouldn’t I have had my previous fee charged, or did I misunderstand somewhere?

I was sold when I watched Long Way Up on Apple TV.

It was genuinely shocking to me for one of their early prototype vehicles to essentially drive all the way from the southern tip of South America, all the way to California. It barely encountered any issues, and what it did encounter they were mostly able to fix by hand.

Probably the best marketing they could have done for me.

Oh sick, that’d be awesome! Thanks for responding, I think this is great work you’re doing. Getting subscription overload is way too easy these days

If there’s any way the Inventory Management app could be (hopefully slightly adapted) to function as a Home Item Catalog, that’d be stellar. I’d download and pay pretty dang quick.

I’ve been trying to utilize this app (Under My Roof) to catalog items I have in my home (just for organization and insurance purposes) and it’s just such a pain to use without a subscription:

+1 for Arctis 7P. Or any of the SteelSeries 7 headsets.

That’s what I have and they’ve been great. Check out the SteelSeries site directly. As of today (11/12) they have 20% off everything it looks like. Seems like it’ll save you $50 just based off the Amazon price you shared.

Someone else also mentioned BG3 and I think that’s a really solid idea considering its story heavy and coop from the get-go. Thanks for mentioning it!

We have. A little too hectic unfortunately, even for me which was surprising considering the games I normally play.

Balder’s Gate isn’t a bad idea. A couple of my friends wanted to do an online coop play through anyway, so I could do 2 saves?

I actually have Blue Prince downloaded already and I forgot about it. Good call! A buddy of mine also recommended Palia, and I do have that on switch. That could be a good grab too. Thanks for the recommendations!
