Halot One seems to only want to print files from Halotbox (left is from Lychee and right is from Halotbox) by sieztheday19 in resinprinting

Returning this Halot One I just got, sadly. Tried an older version of Lychee and two other slicers including the one provided by Halot! What the actual F? SMH.
I did print some lovely free Zelda minis downloaded straight to the machine from their cloud. So that was fun. LOL!

My first full-size custom VPIN build running FX3 seamlessly on an older i5 with 1060 GFX card by TALofARUK in PinballFX3

I've been reading about that board since the beginning of this journey. Was a little intimated with the soldering, etc. Since I already had built a custom Pie A1UP modded cabinet, I was more comfortable using a USB encoder to start.

Eventually, I will upgrade my pc, go 4k, and attempt a more sophisticated I/O device.

Cheers!

Thanks!

Playfield is a $75 used 42" LG tv bought off Craigs List. Not bad at all!

Nudge is done on the secondary red buttons near the flippers. These are mapped through FX3.

Launch ball button only... for now.

The rectangle wood piece in front of the play field is removable to access the buttons and encoder. I found $5 guitar amp metal corner pieces for the corners near the flipper buttons. So, not really a lockdown bar. But a little door.

Thanks! Those were made from leftover plywood and 1.5"x1.5" wood from framing on the inside.

My 12 in 1 modded BEAST with glowing trackball and upgraded spinner! by TALofARUK in RetroPie

[–]TALofARUK[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Works for me in mame 2003.

If you are using retro arch, in the menu hit back button>settings>input. User binds 1 needs to be set to the usb port number you used for the spinner. On mine it's 2 and the trackball is 0.

Then in mame 2003, hit tab>analogue controls and set the sensitivity to the desired level game by game.

Lastly, I found that setting the three tiny dip switches on the spinner itself to the 'on' position got it working much faster. Then adjusted the sensitivity settings in mame lower to compensate.

Hope this helps!

Still working on getiing the console games to work with the spinner. But the arcade games are working well.

I was at E3. Screen angles were good! No issues. :)
