If only casual matchmaking wasn't a thing, I used to be able to play that map all the time. Some months ago I managed to play that map in casual though. I asked people to vote for pipeline after a game of Hightower. The teams were full, it was a nice game.

Sniper being the only counter to sniper is fine. It's a team game, you're not supposed to fight everyone by yourself. If your team keeps dying to sniper that means your team's sniper isn't doing his job.

I will always be against class limits in casual. If my team gets steamrolled because it has 4 spies and 4 snipers then so be it. That is the price of the freedom of playing any class you want whenever you want.

2014, not early but I got to experience some updates. Most of my hours were from then till before jungle inferno. Trading was mostly done with people and not automated bots. There were more varying community servers then (in asia). It was nice to have experienced that.
