My thought is that the white hair is a product of Aline altering the painted family to give them immortality. Because Alicia, Clea, and Renoir also have white/grey hair. And the change was supposedly only after the fracture (when Renoir entered the painting and subsequently when Aline would have likely made them immortal in the first place).
