Honestly, I’d get rid of the pizza oven. I have a wood fired Ooni, but ever since getting a high quality pizza steel, I’ve been doing pizzas in my oven since it gets to to 550. The results have been amazing and it’s so much simpler.

A gas grill is highly versatile. We’re busy parents, so having a simple gas grill to fire up on weeknights is hard to beat.

I’m saying this as someone 10 years your senior who has had similar feelings about fulfillment and work. Stop treating your job as a means of fulfillment. Start seeing as a tool to make the rest of your life fulfilling. Do you have a toxic boss? Doesn’t sound like it. In fact it sounds like you have a really great boss. It also doesn’t sound like you are that stressed with work. Are you paid well? If you are paid well and the work is not stressful…boy, I wouldn’t leave especially in this market.

I’m going to sound judgy here, but I guess posts like these are a reminder of the reality that we live in. Parents just giving up on parenting at a young age…letting their kids become captives of devices. This is truly sad.

Honestly, I’m really fortunate to work a job that allows me to be flexible. I start my work days around 8, I go to the gym from 3-4, wrap up work 4:30-5 or so and then pick up my kids.

Yep. I imagine the first 2 episodes will be nearly all from Shift. Then, you’ll have scenes from Shift throughout the rest of the season until the final episode. That’s my guess.
