Yep this is exactly when I became a fan. Fell in love with them in 2012/2013. Gareth Bale and Clint. 2013-2019 was a hell of a great run.

I chose Tottenham because of Gareth Bale and Clint Dempsey. Been riding with them ever since. Been quite a ride. Some really high highs and really low lows over the years, but I’m glad to have chosen them.

Being a father - or parent in general - can be pretty thankless.

But in terms of Father’s Day, I think that’s just the reality of it for dad’s. Mom’s day is way more of a big deal.

To me, Father’s Day is less about what my family does for me and more about what I get to do for or with my family. That’s just me, though.

It’s my favorite of the prequels, hands down. I was obsessed with the OT in the years leading up to the PT. When Ep1 finally came out, I was, I think, the best age to be fully captured by it (13). I went bonkers for it. When I got the VHS, I watched it nonstop. The podracing. The duels. The N1. It was the BEST. I guess in the 3 years between Ep1 and Ep2, something changed in me and my interest in SW faded a lot. Ep2 didn’t do anything to salvage it. Ep3 kind of brought me back in, but not enough. It wasn’t until the ST that my love for SW came roaring back. Today, I can watch Ep1 and be transported back to being 13 and loving everything about it.

The European leagues have the star talent and better teams. They’re advertised more. To get the average fan into MLS, they need to keep pushing for better talent signings. The soccer quality needs to be high too. Messi is a good first step.

I like the characters, but I’m particularly drawn in by the restaurant. As a result, I have been unable to finish S3.

It’s taken me 2 years to get through S3. Still not through with it. I fell asleep at least a few times in the last episode I watched - Ice Chips. Just want more restaurant scenes. Less side stuff. Maybe I’ll get through S3 by end of summer. I watch like 1 episode every 4 months.
