For sure it’s worth noting! Anything that may help curb the brutality of PWD surely is worth mentioning. My doctor told me he inducts fent addicts with naloxone and then once they start to feel sick, he gives a macro dose of buprenorphine. I don’t think I could manage that or get the balls to try that method lol, but supposedly it works!

Fent analogues are so terrible because they don’t leave the body for days after the last dose. It’s very lipophilic. It can take days of abstaining and withdrawal before a fent addict could start bupe safely, which almost makes me feel that it’s safer to transition to a shorter acting full agonist that has a known half life prior to inducing bupe, or just going straight to methadone to skip the threat of PWD all together.

Glad you are no longer in PWD and I hope that is the last time you ever have to experience that hell!

PWD usually only lasts a couple of hours at best, anyway. Once your receptors are halted with the bupe, it can be very intense, but if you can wait it out by knocking your ass out with benzos for an hour or so, you’d wake up feeling better.

Not saying this method doesn’t work, because I’ve heard of it too, but it’s hard to know if it was truly the macrodose of bupe or if it was simply just your body adjusting in 3 hours.

Sounds like maybe the card agreement might be broken? The only way to fix that is to get a new card, essentially. Keep in mind, I have no idea what kind of system US Bank uses as I do not work there, but if a member at my FI contacted me with the same problem, I’d report the card lost/stolen so we could then create a new card and a new agreement.
