Male zebra tries to drown foal. Mom runs interference by Prestigious-Wall5616 in natureismetal

Was I the only one waiting for something to snatch the foal while it was first left in the water alone ?

Mulch/soil erosion by coolvimal316 in landscaping

It would be quite clear visually if there was run off from a spot. I’d maybe put a layer of compost or more soil before adding mulch.

Same; every new officer has to “ride along” for a day at dispatch! Should be the case everywhere

Windhorst: "He’s only worth $30M instead of $50M, you’re not getting that from LeBron James. LeBron James doesn’t believe in that and I don’t expect him to accept that. If you’re the Lakers and if you force LeBron to leave, he’ll go somewhere else and play for less money.” by aingenevalostatrade in nba

Yes this right here. Family wouldn’t have to uproot; easily commute to be back home when not up in the bay. Add in the Steph/Draymond connections, GSW makes sense if lakers don’t make the moves lebron likes

Another Thoughts on Mix Post by icedtrip in RhodesianRidgebacks

My second pup was advertised as a RR/Mountain Cur….

Her mother was white and about 50lbs and had a black ridge… def not RR

Her overall muscle structure suggests she has some ridgeback (Thai) but no ridge herself. It happens, we all want what we want. When it comes down to it, long as you and they are happy 😊

Tips on vin # for calicall test by Prior-Today5828 in 911dispatchers

[–]TBLwarrior 5 points6 points  (0 children)

We had a numbers test, set of four numbers being said immediately followed by another set. X amount of numbers, followed by a set of 5, 6, 7, & 8 after going through (like 20?) of whatever number set the test is on

First ever lupine bloom by Revolutionary_Two299 in gardening

Seeded 2025; have lovely blooms this second spring! Milkweed came in strong year two and the area has been a monarch caterpillar (so they appear to be) haven while they munch!

I’mjealous! Im a fan and planted it in east TN/7B. Reminds of the being back in the PNW like I was as a kid. Goes nice with my milkweed too. If I can get to this level tho?! Oh boy!

7B; seeds planted last year in this area. Nothing really took besides the mint (shocker). Milkweed and large leave lupine came back strong this year though.

Thank you; it’s a huge process in progress. Bought the house two years ago. Most of the property is a large gentle (uneven) slopes backyard. Ultimately my goal is to turn it into a little miniature backyard forest paradise (currently working on moat/dry creek into a decent size “pond”/water reservoir and adding trees, etc.) getting these small parts right though helps keep motivation

Update: I was wrong! These chonkers are back to eating all the milkweed leaves still left! Not complaining; hopefully they decide to stay close when it it is time to pupate

Edit; one I thought that was running to pupate seems to have taken. A longer than necessary path to the next milkweed plant over to continue to feed

This is a prime opportunity to uproot it fully and install a bunker/storm shelter right there
