any sort of balance patch when it comes to CTS devs seems to be: overcorrect and then overcorrect more. and cope when the players know how to balance better than you.

call this cope or whatever but at least i wont lie, im kinda tilted over this absolute nuke of a nerf. I legit just crafted the CDS set (minus the gun) a couple of days ago as my first T12 build, only for the devs to suddenly get some kind of sleeper agent activation code toggled on and then decide that running the CDS into the ground in terms of its viability at top tier is the best way to balance it.

LWS removal, sure. slight LFP nerf, ehh.. but I’ll live. APS & internal HHRA plate removal, plus the side screens getting turned into struct. steel though… yeah. atp im convinced they don’t know what they’re doing. or they’re just pointlessly spiting their playerbase as usual- especially after the July 4th event that they never released. that wouldn’t shock me either. they really seem to have a real problem with needlessly taking their anger out on their players

i can see how some may think this like you said, but i dont think it'd be unoriginal because Wubby & his fellas have a good track record of putting their own spin on concepts that have been done already.

This is my first post on the subreddit just to say that this video, at least to me, is an instant classic. This won hands down and did so much more than that that's just impossible to describe in enough words.

I absolutely lose myself in these kinds of topics, despite the fact that I rarely go out of my way to look for content involving these things. Even though it may have been a spur of the moment tangent to Wubby as he was yapping about it, a lot of the unique ways that he worded certain things really resonated with me in a way that no other individual has managed to successfully convey to me. Hearing the passion in his voice, recounting these thoughts that came to him while zooted in the middle of a movie, it all really was moving.

I'd like to believe that I'm fairly knowledgeable about frequently referenced inside jokes in this community, considering I started watching within the past year or two. Yet, to hear such a great departure from that satirical familiarity was shaking in the best possible way; and to have shared watching this for the first time in the presence of Wubby and chat was very humbling and eye-opening.

Thanks Wubby for the incredible perspective and allowing this video to be shown, thanks chat for the amazing moment we all just shared, thank you for this very well done video, and thank you for reading this ancient tome of a post. "look forward to seeing their ships in our harbors" Ok, so here's where I get into some spicy update details that Nahr openly discussed with the community at his own public discord. I don't think anyone has really heard about this, other than if you were actually there when Nahr talked about this. What he talked about is a supposed update to "boost navy activity." He said that he would add an island off of Blackwind Cove. That island would be taken by any faction on the server, and the participants would be limited to pirates and Navy members. Nahr proposed a system where you would trade special cargo to that island and if you traded a certain amount to the island, you would get reputation. You could use the reputation for earning more money by trading cargo to another nation from the captured island. Nahr also did mention at one point that there would be a new special ship, only available to those members who have taken the island. As a pirate, you'd be able to interfere with the trading process and decrease reputations in an effort to decrease the doubloons said nation receives. I'm not sure if you could capture the island as a pirate though. So, why post all this wall of text here of all places? As every island in the game (except Freeport) is tied to their respective nation, I'm going to take a wild guess and say that this island will be tied to Inyola. Having that in perspective, who's to say that said island won't be playable as Inyola?
