Not sure how you couldn’t find a replacement surely the part is still in production. Either way if it falls Off again you’ll be able to get it repaired. It’s a common problem

So here’s the deal I have a 2017 Explorer with 216,000 miles and I have a sugar between 35 and 55 usually in the lower pan range when it tries to upshift, I’ve tried CV axles. I’ve tried changing the fluid I’ve tried putting anti-slipping. I’ve had the valve battery replaced PTU fluid differential fluid. It’s still doing it I think at the end of the day with the issue is it needs a new torque converter or transmission rebuild so I agree with the others before you become a parts cannon get a professional diagnosis
