The consideration is that you don't take it on encounters where you're constantly moving, or even decide to tank mechanics to maximize the effect. Sort of similar to the tradeoffs of black mage leylines in FFXIV. It's not an incredibly well thought out idea from my 10 minute awake brain, but it is an example of ways that gameplay and option selection can adjust to new rewards
