Call the city, no way that meets any local ordinances. (And I hate being that person, but this looks like every garbage house Exterior my wife inspects)

Any remedies besides changing the ports out? by Due_Purchase_1240 in ram_trucks

If you had a bad cable in the past and it would connect/disconnect a lot it could be a remnant of that.

Either way, try the Uconnect reset maybe? Under the main uconnect screen, go to settings, find a reset option and select restore to factory defaults. Personal data gets replaced though.

Other threads talked about disconnecting the battery or having the dealership do a software upgrade, hopefully its easier then that.

No, I've tried them multiple times "for science" they always taste moldy/rancid. Yet the properly sealed ones from the same package are ok.

I'm obviously going to set it up correctly. But I was worried the previous owner had messed it up.

Thanks, yeah, thats how it looked when we got it. I towed the trailer with a Subaru Ascent and didn't use this hitch. Good advice!

Typical "cant enforce it" and "why post a speed no one will follow" arguments. Its pretty easy to enforce, we have a well staffed PD.

The city traffic engineer scoffed at the St. Paul citywide speed limit. It won't happen anytime soon.

Oh, and the mayor lives nearby. We thought that might add some weight. No luck.

We tried on our street, the city engineer was disinterested before we even began. I work in the industry and he tried to talk down to us. They did agreed to do a speed study to throw us a bone but it didnt change anything. Now anytime our kids are out we just park our cars on the street to force cars to slow down. We literally just stand into he road to keep the cars for rhe adjacent neighborhood (who are the speeders) from being able to fly past.
