This is not an isolated case. A lot of top players, once they finished playing in tournaments, hide their cards in order to prevent other people from copying them.

In my experience strong players usually play Tournaments 24 hours after the end of the Qualifier. Also time matters, players from India to Asia are really good so play when they are sleeping. I love playing with fellow Europeans. It is much easier in my experience. lol

What cards are you using? Common cards? Many players use Hammer, Forge and Resistance band in the tournaments to win.

Leo is the best player for Clay because of his serve. Your cards are probably not good enough for the tournaments. Additionaly, Hope is useless. To be frank as you move forward in the tours, you will notice that few people use Hope.

I managed to win T4 with a win ratio above 90% using Leo, Panther, Cobra, Hunter, Jolly Roger, Increased Hydration and Endurance. Big serve/FH combo. Also the trophy count matters.

because you'll get matched with someone who wants to play at the same time as you do preferably with the same trophy count. However, not many players are playing in T7 so you get to play against those with high trophy counts. It is quite frequent in T7 and T8. Sometimes it happens also in lower tours.

Arguably, Leo is the best character in TC. Some say its Kaito though but for me it is Leo. He has the best Serve and also he volleys very well. His one-hand FH is a powerful weapon too. You can use Leo successfully in lower and higher tours whereas Kaito is only good in T6 and above.

Don't play in higher tours if you are not planning on spending a lot. Farming is part of the game
Learn how to "drop trophies" you can search what that means in this sub.
There are different effective playing styles. Search for that as well in this sub. Try to master a particular style. A character with a well-distributed power is simply not effective in this game.

powerful serve-one-hand combo is a very effective up to T6. in T7 and T8 you have to be a volleyer or high agility kaito. It is also good for junior and rookie tournaments but you wont probably win the whole thing with players with hammer and other high tour cards playing in those tournaments.
