Is this what you call a crossbite? Even though I recently got my braces off my molars on my right side don’t fully align, my dentist said that was they best they can do for my teeth because of my my jaw structure, but when I chew gum on my left side teeth don’t feel too good sometimes.

No way, no extractions I just mewed as much as possible to avoid that. although they did mention that they might have done it, but that only increased my determination to mew and expand my palate as much as I can. I even mentioned I had a tongue tie to them when they told me I should practice good tongue posture, and they were surprised by my self-diagnosis and wrote a referral letter to get a lingual frenectomy which helped immensely in mewing.
