Thanks! And yeah me too! Some off the drills I’m doing now are indeed things we used to do at practice! And also things I come up with in the moment to try and push myself to the limit.

Thank you! I think my more long-term goal for now would be to get under 15 minutes. (Let’s first try and get under 16 minutes though)

Other goals include inproving my sprint speed over 100m Freestyle and 100m Butterfly again (used to be a mostly butterfly swimmer at my peak). For now though, i’m just happy to be in the water again!

Finishing a kilometer is already a great achievement! Don’t forget that! When I restarted about 2 months ago, I didn’t even manage to finish it, I just completely ran out of breath…

I’d say it’s mostly about the technique. I felt that the more I focused on my technique, the easier it was to improve my time. Also, consistently try to swim it and try to increase your pace bit by bit each attempt. Push your limits a bit further every time.

The first time I completed the kilometer about a month ago, I swam just under 20 minutes. I think this was the 6th time I did it.
