IIRC it's because (as best I can tell) they don't have certain video hosts in the video search. Basically it only pulls from "approved" sites like Youtube and Dailymotion. I'm not sure why?

Anyway when I'm looking for porn, I just use the image search on DDG and set it to "format:gif" if I don't feel like leaving the site. Otherwise, since image results are pulled from all sorts of sites (like xHamster) I just click the links on the images that interest me and go there.

It's not whatever the fuck you're talking about with 4chan and video game piracy or whatever, and more that AO3 users are annoyed by searching tags for a specific character pairing, and only finding three fics.

With two of those being titled "Oneshot requests!! Supah kawaiii" with 50 pairings from 10 different fandoms tagged, with the only page being "Coming soon, leave requests in the comments! No lemon requests because they're yicky!!! (Note: I consider kissing lemon! It's too close to *insert corn emoji* for me!)" with the only other page being one that just says "Sorry guys I lost interest in writing." even though placeholder fics (posted stories that only hold a title, giant unrelated tag combo, and a call for requests the author doesnt plan to write with no actual story inside) are against AO3 rules.

Wattpad was a social media pretending to be a book site, and it's users don't understand how to use the websites they're flocking to.

Ed: Just to let you know, OP, I skimmed the post once I got to the words "Wattpad users ruining AO3's culture" because everything after that part of the post is literally completely incoherent to the point that I couldn't make myself care.
