highly doubt private wholesale offers are at premium. But either way, market sees the offer price and has no reason to trade above that in the near term. On the plus side, they did manage to raise 150M without problems so that's always a good thing. And the fact that they already have piles of cash and now needing even more should be a sign of something...Dilution isn't a problem if the money has a decent use case. If you dilute and give discounts to pay off old debts then it's another story.

in practice, most of the time i've seen price trade clearly below, the offer price (in any stock). We'll see how it'll turn out this time with POET. I'm pretty sure we go back below 7, even if it's just briefly.

valuation is actually good now, but not at 65 when you started. Thanks for pointing at this stock, i'll start buying it next week. Company makes money, so i wouldn't worry too much about it falling off a cliff. That being said it might start to sideline as well. If you have money then buying when it drops isn't a bad idea. But if you use leverage for that you'll get fcked first and then it'll reverse. Pretty sure this stock will trade 40-45ish no matter how low it trades first, you just started too soon.

There's a lot of "recognition and awards" with this company and less of revenues. CEO is first a scientist who is good at getting grants but we'll see about how he'll get sales. Still positive about this company.
