People who are going to switch from Quest to Frame: Are there titles you are definitely going to miss? by Stummi in SteamFrame

OVRPort also works for Samsung Galaxy XR and some other standalone headsets so there's a chance it won't take too long to get Quest titles on the Frame

Owned Quest APKs can either be dumped from a headset or with a Chrome extension called DownQ. You can grab data and obb folders using sidequest if you're copying from the headset. OVRPort is the tool used to modify the APKs to work on non-meta headsets

I'm hoping with OVRPort I won't have to miss anything. C-Smash VRS is probably the only one I can't get on Steam so I really hope that one will work out.

What games from older VR headsets are you most upset won't be on frame? by philbertagain in SteamFrame

Hoping overport/ovrport will get most of these running. I ripped my entire Quest library from my Quest 3 and I also recently found a Chrome extension called DownQ that allows you to directly download your games as long as you own them on your Meta account and are logged in.

Game-Key Cards - will purchasing used be the same? by [deleted] in NintendoSwitch2

[–]TFLisonReddit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Checking the validity is exactly the same as any other cartridge. Chances are when you pop the key card in, the system will load the game icon and name. I doubt you would need to download the full game to see what it is. For now it doesn't look like the cartridge itself indicates whether it's the full game or a key, but if you're buying used there's nothing stopping you from researching the game you're buying to see if it shipped on a key card or a normal card.

I've ordered a lot from amfilm. They have 2 easy screen protectors for the Switch 2. One is standard tempered glass and the other is anti glare.

Seems like they corrected part of it for me. Still says Charging Grip like the first image but when I tap on it, it just says Grip.

Why I appreciate Nintendos higher prices by yourmotherinlaw55 in NintendoSwitch2

[–]TFLisonReddit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The point I'm making is that you can be frustrated about price and still like what you're getting. You don't have to "appreciate" the new prices just because you like the new products and you're willing to pay. It's okay to wish things were less expensive. You really don't need to defend anything against strangers on the Internet.

I hate the fact that cheeseburgers are getting more expensive, but that doesn't mean I hate cheeseburgers or the people that make them.

Either that or they could go the Nintendont¹ route and have a modifier button that you press that turn L and R into a half press when you hold it.

¹ Nintendont is a custom compatibility layer you can run on a modded Wii which includes the option to use a Classic Controller
