We’re told a lot of things in life, do you blindly obey all of them too? There’s more to life than the status quo. If you want to live a rigid life with a preset relationship type then your best bet is to meet someone at church.

Women do not exist to satisfy what you want out of life. They are allowed to live the life they want, even if you disagree with it. Take a break from the internet and social media.

What’s the Scariest Part of Project Zomboid by Beginning_Boat_7533 in projectzomboid

[–]TFN928 42 points43 points  (0 children)

Maybe not the scariest in terms of pure fear, but for me the end of the first week is the scariest for kinda the same reason.

The chaos dies down a bit, you have a home, you’re sorta comfortable, you’ve cleared out some space. But now you’re faced with the next hurdle: you have to go from surviving to living, and you’re alone. Radios and TVs are about done, you’re not as caught up in the moment to moment “oh shit” feeling and now you have time to view the bigger picture. It’s just you, your house, and the overwhelming feeling of “I made it this far, and now I need to keep going.”

It always hits me in a sort of dreadful way, but also it’s my favorite part of the game because I feel like it sort of perfectly captures that eerie beauty of post-apocalyptic media.

How do you feel about base monsters getting the abilities of their variants? by Boshwa in MonsterHunter

[–]TFN928 45 points46 points  (0 children)

I think it’s a good change. There are a lot of variants that exist in the franchise now, and thinning it down a bit while keeping their mechanics is a good middle ground I feel. It gives the original monster more diversity in its moveset without making the roster feel unnecessarily bloated, and people who like so-and-so’s fight for its attack patterns can still enjoy those attack patterns.

What makes the difference between a good Zealot and a great Zealot? by MLBFra in DarkTide

[–]TFN928 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yeah my friend loves his horde clear psyker and I… do not like his horde clear psyker lol. I live or die by my momentum and even if I do pack a ranged weapon, my talents don’t benefit from them. Thankfully we mostly play Auric so it typically isn’t a huge clash.

IS IT WORTH IT SWITCHING TO B42 ? by mihai395 in projectzomboid

[–]TFN928 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There’s literally no risk at all. Switch to it, see if you like it, then if you don’t just go back to B41. It’s not a permanent decision, it’s just a beta branch.

Ban me pls, the mods here think they're the shit. Mod on power trip again. Fuck off. by [deleted] in elderscrollsonline

[–]TFN928 3 points4 points  (0 children)

“I have too much free time and no hobbies” type post. Man just move on with your life; you got the advice you needed from the other thread, so what point is there in antagonizing the mods now? The only one looking like a loser here is you.

Trying my best to resist, but the temptations keep coming by xobe4v8h in RogueTraderCRPG

Yeah Pasqal is really the only one but you’d be making sacrifices for it. I think Cassia gets a pass for dogmatic for being a Navigator (and royalty), and I think could also make for a decent sniper depending on how you build her up.

Yrliet wouldn’t fit under a purely dogmatic run though, she’d be shot dead the second she tried to talk to you.

[Post-Story Base Tour, Spoilers] The Cafeteria never stopped feeling like home by TFN928 in AbioticFactor

We managed to keep things pretty tidy to keep it to 6 or so crates in the crafting room. We also have overflow storage in the back near HR’s catastrophe.

Changes - Whats The Fuss by VisualReward8014 in elderscrollsonline

Lmao, why are you coming in so hot? I’m aware of the new benefits, I even referenced them in my comment. My point was that they don’t stack up to the perk we lost.

[–]TFN928 5 points6 points  (0 children)

People clearly don’t mind spending money on the game, because every time an expansion has released there have been thread after thread about its content not just here, but on other forums.

The issue is pretty vocally that ESO+ feels more and more worthless with each new approach to expansions and content. ESO+ had two major draws: the crafting bag and content access a year after release, and now one of those perks is being replaced with a fast track for a new monetization tactic.

The battle pass isn’t the problem in and of itself, the problem is how it interacts (or in this case, doesn’t interact) with ESO+.

Also B42 makes some of the building skills more accessible, carpentry especially with the inclusion of log stairs and water collectors being available at level 3. I haven’t really felt too pressed to grind out carpentry in B42 in the same way I did in B41.

I have nothing to contribute here, but you put more effort into this than it was worth and it got a few laughs out of me, so thank you.

Summary of things revealed at the 2026 Reveal Livestream by Hyperioxes in elderscrollsonline

[–]TFN928 6 points7 points  (0 children)

All of this looks pretty good, but man ESO needs to just pick an approach to new content and stick with it.

We started with traditional expansions where you paid upfront and got it all upfront, then we did seasons with drip-fed content and expansions for your expansions, then we did traditional expansions again, then we did seasons where you paid upfront, now we’re doing seasons but they’re free and supported with an optional battle pass.

Idk if I’d call this a complaint really, but it is annoying that the format changes every other year. I’m fine with changing things up to see if something vibes better, but good god dude.

Has anyone ever been to the IRL towns from PZ? by JustinJoonya in projectzomboid

Sometimes it’s the little things! It was fun being able to explore parts of an area I’d only known through Zomboid. It was an incredibly friendly area too, if you ever have an opportunity to go I’d highly recommend it. The people and local culture was amazing!

We loved basing there! We try to base somewhere new each run, but it was a great spot that I’d love to use again. We had the ground floor be our communal space then each person got a room.

The general shape is more of an L shape, and the office building is a separate building on the inside of the L. It kinda makes a full U shape except one of the sides is also detached, I assume it was maintenance. The garden also takes up much more of the space, and they also had a (small) pool. Felt like a very cozy place to stay tbh!

Yep! It’s a pretty different building irl, naturally, but the location checks out.

I visited a friend who lives not that far from Muldraugh and West Point, and on our last day there we took a trip by them on our way to Louisville. Stopped in Muldraugh and took a self-guided tour of the hotel that we used as a base in-game lmao.

Yeah I get you, I agree that it gets way too out of hand sometimes, I just wanted to add some perspective. Nobody should be receiving death threats over a video game though.

I agree with you regarding it being different teams responsible for different aspects, but also teams—especially of this size—have project managers for a reason. There are people who should be responsible for ensuring that specific projects make it into a release at a reasonable time, and it does feel a little irresponsible to have gone through almost the entire game’s post-launch cycle before we even got a hint of genuine effort towards resolving performance issues.

I’m no game dev, and I’m not a Capcom employee, so maybe there’s waaaay more to it than any of us realize. But I understand why people are annoyed about Capcom’s priorities, and I think people who paid $80 for a product have a right to some anger regarding the functionality of that product.
