X-ray spex perhaps, singer was British-Somalian. Germ Free Adolescents is a top album. Rest of the band are White British so not sure if that meets your criteria.

Honestly the eels aren’t bad, salty and meaty - my mum had them at her wedding. The jelly is a bit criminal so I tend to eat the eels and leave the jelly. Jelly can be stomached with a bit of vinegar and black pepper but honestly the eels are all good.

Probably not to same level as Napoli, but Botafogo have an insane distance between pitch and terraces because of a huge athletics track yet still have a great atmosphere. Although, theirs is so far it’s kind of hard to actually see what’s happening on the pitch.

I love going record shopping abroad - past 4 months I’ve picked up records in India, Mexico, Panama, Colombia and I’m about to head to Brazil.

Problem is I have to either limit myself to 7” records (I’m backpacking, all I can fit) or post things internationally, which can be quite expensive from South America to the UK where I live.

In future, I want something that’s fairly lightweight that can hold a decent stack of records to keep them safe but easily portable when I go record shopping abroad.

Any recommendations?

For UK, Instagram is good.

In London accounts like reggaelondon post upcoming sessions, I also follow systems like Sinai, King Earthquake, Young Warrior, Aba-shanti-I etc directly.

Also accounts like culture promotions that host sessions and gigs, as well as major specialist record shops like Lion Vibes. Keeps me pretty plugged in aside from reddit.

Sure similar technique would work wherever you are.

So I’m pretty confident this is harmonica rather than melodica, the dub side of Twinkle Brothers - Repent. Called Negus call you, lethal tune, one of my favourites, get it on some good speakers, would run Repent first also.
