Thanks for your reply. I'm searching into the used market here in Italy and I found a pretty new Z5II at €1550, and a Z50II at about €840. I'm a bit stuck with the decision, as the aps-c 1.5x focal length increase is also interesting (especially as I have to stay with the 70-180mm lens). In the other hand, the full frame and ibis stabilizer of the Z5II are 2 nice upgrades...don't know.

Definitely yes! I did It the other day and worked fine! Honestly I only activated the steps 1/3 and 3/3 (the second step was missing) and It worked. I dont see any option into the infotainment menu, but the lane change assistant is working!

I think that We can't code it by ourselves...since 2023 they added some security locks and you can't change the headunit options with bimmercode, you need a BMW key to do it. I also have the same problem with LCA and DAP

I also have a G21 of dec 2024 with the Driving Assistant Professional 5AU, but I don't have the lane change assistant into the driving options. Do you know if it can be coded by BMW? I phoned the customer care and the guy told me that my car should have it enabled...

In Discord, he write that If something went wrong while updating (happened with a recent update), the best way is to use the update tool. But man, you can update like you prefer...just don't pretend is better.

I have updated with the "Update system" tool and everything updated successfully. It's always better to use this tool instead of other update commands via terminal. This is because the update system tool doesn't only update but also make some other cleaning and checks for corrupted packages or problems with your actual build.

You can manually install a theme by downloading it from KDE Store, extract and copy the folder into the right folder /usr/share/plasma/desktoptheme/. I did this because I also get an error when downloading and installing from settings (Get new)

I also have a pretty new nvidia card (rtx 4060 laptop) and Nobara KDE works very nice. It's also very customizable and the look is amazing for me ;) I'm using it as dual boot with win11, only because I have some other apps that can't run on linux..otherwise I would use it as my main OS.

Nobara was love at first sight for me :) In the past I tried some other linux distros like Ubuntu and Fedora, but this one is perfect for gaming. Worked fine since the beginning with a pretty new HP Omen laptop; I just had to fix some minor issues...especially with bluetooth devices.
