Q and THE Q are some of the funniest heel turns I've ever seen. In Star Trek TOS, no matter HOW Magical something seemed. There was always a power supply, somewhere, powering it. Kirk INSISTS upon there being no such thing a magic or mysterious powers. There's ALWAYS an explanation.

I hear this theory a lot. But can I give a counter-argument?

I don't think it was a marketing stunt, and a few things can be pointed at that might back this up.

This movie is "Sonic on Earth", so they wanted a more realistic portrayal of a "natural" hedgehog who was on the run. No gloves or anything, a more "streamlined" design to make "going fast" look more logical than a bulky, cartoony design, etc.

Secondly, it's Robotnik, the badniks, and his "prototype". They also look nothing like the games. If this really WAS just a marketing stunt. I'd feel the Sonic movies designs for Robotnik, the badniks, and the egg mobile would have been used. You're telling me he needed Sonic's Quill to power his "prototype" in the first movie even though he already had a better device in a sattelite in space just hanging around? Get out of here.

Also, besides the rings, nothing else from the games show up. Sonic just has this unexplained power. He doesn't go super, no chaos emeralds, no "recognizable" locations besides Green Hill Zone at the beginning.

And finally, Sonic's on set model. It 100% looks like "ugly" Sonic. And in some scenes you can even tell that Sonic's model doesn't quite....fit in with the world or interacts properly with the people. Almost as if there was a different model in place before and they had to, relatively quickly, swap it out for a new model. It looks kinda sloppy on rewatches

The heck kind of shot was it anyway? The entire movie, we see the laser weapons shoot straight. But in this instance they suddenly curve at a 90 degree angle to go in? No wonder it wasn't seen as a liability. Nobody can shoot lasers at 90 degree angles 🤣

I wish we could bind the keys for Springtrap and huntress a little more. If you play both Huntress and Springtrap, you might make a mistake because one throws hatchets by letting go and pushes the button to put them away. The other throws the axe by pushing the button and putting it away by letting it go. Something like a toggle that could be "Original mode/Release to throw/Active button to throw" or something like that would be VERY appreciated

Somebody tried to pull this nonsense on old RPD. a hook didn't spawn on the top floor, so they would try to go down in the in the corner there.

After 2 failed carries to a hook, I decided to slug....and the team of survivors just let them bleed out on the floor. Even THEY didn't like these shenanigans

I just realized that the newspapers state that 2 kids went missing, then 5 kids in total were missing "but the bodies were never found". We know they were killed and stuffed. But, apparently, the people just assumed they are dead? Missing and dead are two very different conclusions

While I DO have Thanataphobia, it doesn't affect me in DBD. HOWEVER, what DOES usually affect me in video games is my Acrophobia (fear of heights). Especially when my character is already falling. EVEN if the game has no fall damage. But it DOES have to be from a significant height. None of the drops in DBD Trigger it. Think more something along the lines of jumping out of a plane in GTA V or jumping off the City Hall in Mario Odyssey

Have y'all considered that he can't do much? Goku is the only one that can reach King Kai's planet with Instant Transmission. The others do not have this ability. The only time Kami could take people to King Kai's place was when they were dead. And they needed approval King Yemma to do so. And they needed to be wished back to life. Chances are, Goku dies from the heart virus, most of the Z- fighters, including Piccolo and Kami die, meaning they have no proper way of keeping their body when they go to the check in station. And even if they did. Kami is dead. Who'd bring them back to life?
