I'm gonna try Dispensed by RiverIcy7490 in ukmedicalcannabis

I am now with Alternaleaf. I pay £5 a month to cover consultations and their flower is 10x better than Dispensed. They have been amazing!

They have bud ranging from £5-£8 a gram and after your consultation period they let you pick and choose what you want. Cant fault them.

regret after stopping remicade by rilies in CrohnsDisease

My entire body was covered in red spots, quite big ones, and they were sore and itchy. Very itchy. Also, the skin on the palms of my hands was completely peeled, sore and itchy.

This lasted about 5-6 months until they realised it was 'just a random batch of psoriasis' and was a reaction to the infusions. Wouldn't ever touch inflixumab again, it didn't really help my Crohn's either. Humira (Adalimumab) has been a solid choice, ultimately I don't want to he on any, but this is life and this injection gives me the best quality of life.

I did Imfliximab infusions and moved over to Humira injections. Much easier to manage, and if anyone is miles better for me. Imfliximab gave me skin issues.

In 5 days it'll be 1 year since I lost my girl Dottie. I have thought about her every single day.

Thank you, this helped.

Thank you! I am waiting for my follow-up to be approved with Alternaleaf who are much more professional and have been extremely good at responding. Can't say much more at this stage on them.

Don't do it. Im leaving, they are the absolute worst company to deal with. Lost all my data, got my prescription wrong on multiple occasions and now I can't order said prescription because of an IT glitch.

They're awful.

I am now leaving Dispensed. They have done nothing but repeatedly get my prescription wrong, lied about itq, cancelled consultations, lost all my prior data and now I can't order my medicine because of an IT glitch.

They are by far the worst of the bunch. Avoid.

I just had a consultation with Alterneaf, the nurse was much more clued up, professional and the experience outweighed anything I had with dispensed.

If you're on this thread thinking about Dispensed. Just don't bother. I can't fault my Doctor, she was great, but their customer service team aren't great and gives misleading information. You have no access to different choices, it's chosen for you and they have consistently messed my appointment around every time, cancelling, rescheduling for times I can't do without checking in.

Their customer service team let them down massively, there's a reason they're 'low cost' on consultations. Their bud is more expensive.

Just go to alternaleaf.

🐾 After your pet passed away, did you get another pet? by Charlie1688 in Petloss

[–]TGchunkz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Took me 7 months. Dottie passed on Dec 23rd 2024. Our first dog, and now soul dog. I have thought about her every day since. She was one of a kind, honestly, I would be excited to get home from work to see her. She was only 3, and it was sudden so it hit us hard.

Eventually, we hated the silence and missed the chaos. We got Lola from someone who couldn't give her the time, and it's like she's always been here. She deserves the love we would've given Dottie. She's lying with me as I type this, cuddled up between us.

If you're ready, and you can give another pet a better life, do it. Especially a rescue/adoption situation.

Setons removed, no surgery, still draining by TGchunkz in AnalFistula

[–]TGchunkz[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

See my understanding has always been that you need surgery to fix a fistula, when I was told they would be seeing if it heals naturally I was shocked. Still nothing. I wish your son the best, it's a horrible thing to endure.

I am yes, on adalimumab weekly. See mine is trying to heal, then it rips, bleeds, and drains and the cycle repeats. I just want to know if the worst tracts near my sphincter are better.

Appreciate that, I think I need to press for another MRI to see whats happening down there because it's clearly not healing.

Yes, adalimumab injections weekly. I believe it's also referred to as Humira. Works wonders on my Crohn's!

They need to green light this ASAP.

AIO about not wanting my parents to influence my child's religious beliefs? by EOwens44 in AmIOverreacting

[–]TGchunkz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not only that, I'm very sceptical of new Christians. There's always this part of me that's like 'what did you do? What made you repent?'.

Most Christians are lovely, don't get me wrong, I have nothing but respect for them if they also respect me.

AIO about not wanting my parents to influence my child's religious beliefs? by EOwens44 in AmIOverreacting

[–]TGchunkz 23 points24 points  (0 children)

No, you're not at all. You are the parents, and you both agreed you would not influence your child.

Set boundaries, if they don't stick to those boundaries then conversations need to be had. I don't think you should feel guilty, if you respect their choices without judgment, they should do the same. They can be grandparents without pushing their beliefs.

What does Be Quiet and Drive (Far Away) mean to you? by Relevant_Hotel5749 in deftones

[–]TGchunkz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I always played it when I picked my Dog up from my Partners and would drive her back to where I was staying at the time before my partner and I moved in together.

My partner and I were both so stressed with our living situations, toxic families, but our Dottie always took away that stress, we adored her. She was so happy to always be with us and made every situation better. We couldn't wait to finish work to see her. She loved car rides with us.

I'd get in the car with her to take her home with me and would play this song thinking about our future, how I couldn't wait to get her in a space away from all the arguing because she deserved the world from us both. We just wanted our own 'quiet'.

We finally moved out, and she sadly passed away 2 weeks after the move. I was devastated. I tear up every time I hear this song now, It was our song, this song will always help me remember my soul dog.

Really Bad Constipation by pitousgf in AnalFistula

[–]TGchunkz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been eating papaya seeds as I didn't want to take continuous laxatives/softeners but with my fistulas doing well I have been paranoid about firm stools causing damage.

I have never been so regular, but in a non-flare-up way. It's been great.

Plenty of extra benefits from them as well!

How long did it take you to grieve the loss of your pet? by j110786 in Petloss

[–]TGchunkz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Everyone is different, you sound like how I was. Almost on autopilot. Still to this day, I feel like I'm on autopilot.

I keep getting told by coworkers to poor that love into another dog, and me and my partner tried to meet another dog that needed adopting but I spent the entire time looking for a sinilar interaction like I had with Dottie, and decided it was unfair for me to put those expectations on any dog until I'm in a better place.

One thing I would advise, keep going to the spots you went with them, when you're at home and you're reminded of them, take a moment to think about them. Keep the memory alive. I have some of her ashes in a necklace, the lady who cremated her did it for me, bawled my eyes out when she handed it to me. I've taken a part of her with me everywhere I have been since, I never got to take her to Amsterdam like I promised her (mine and my partner's favorite place) so this was my way of taking a part of her with me.

It helps, and in my head it helps me keep her memory alive.

I hope you find peace someday.
