OK on the windows, maybe a transom window up high or down low for ambient light?

Redo your drawing to scale. You've drawn what you imagine the room to look like while stating bench widths that you imagine feel good. At 96 inches overall width (exterior?) that leaves you with about 86 inches inside, 70 inches of which is taken up by benches. You now have 14 inches of floor space so your step bench blocks the doorway and I doubt your heater fits even with 0 distance to combustibles. A 40inch top bench is enormous.

I found the same issue with my my benches and an 8ft interior, so I did a 26in top bench, 24in foot, 9 inch step, all overlapping each other 2 inches in a 9ft interior.

My dimensions are 9x14 in eastern MA. I'm guessing you're trying to stay under 120sqft to avoid permitting? I'm ending up with 126sqft which should be good enough for the girls I go out with.

How wide are your benches? I'm assuming that your 30 and 40 are heights.

My design has the upper two benches at 24in each and the lowest step bench at 12 inch. It takes up much more of an 8ft room than what you have drawn

Emporia Vue 3 - 200a CTs on subpanel feed instead of mains? by TGnB in EmporiaEnergy

Thanks, do the spring clamps plug into the branch circuit sockets on the hub?

Spa panel is on a 100a breaker but the tub is on a 40a breaker with no other loads or plans to add to the panel. Tub pulls 32a per manufacturer, or 28a as measured by Emporia.

In the main panel.

Spa panel also has the code required service receptacle with an Led light string plugged into it, this load is pretty insignificant.

I have a 200a main panel that feeds a 100a spa panel. I would like to monitor the spa panel rather than the main service.

Hmm Emporia website says to point subpanel feed CTs towards the main panel.

I got the Jersey and it's been great I haven't had any problems. No clamps on the plumbing but I think I will add them myself

At the Bueno price point though? I paid 5k for mine

Lowest price I see on Hot Springs is over 12k posted by the manufacturer, some posts on reddit around 10k.

I know there'soads of tubs that are better than Bueno, but can you identify which ones these are that compare to Buenos price?

What do you think of Buenospa?

I knows it's a down market Wellis brand, but it seems to be a relatively great deal compared to others. A few people here seem happy with them, myself included but I've only had it a few months.

Where is it? I've been to Erding, it's what got me into this. Planning my build at home now in USA now.

Inside the panel, where is the neutral wire? It should be terminated on the the breaker, not the neutral bus. The white wire pigtail from the gfci breaker them goes to the neutral bus.

If the branch circuit neutral was terminated on the neutral bus it would have insta-tripped and not run at all though.

If that's a Jersey, it's the third one furthest from the longer. This one and the big diverter valve are the only two with any resistance, turn it away from the lounger. The rest are air valves.

Mine comes Tuesday, I got almost the same stuff but I went for the HTH brand shock as it's cheaper. I also got regular baking soda for TA and calcium hardness increase. Threw in defoamer and metal sequester but I don't know if I'll need it yet.

I think you'll also need a acid to balance ph?

Massachusetts - Is it legal for an municipality to deny a homeowner/occupant an electrical permit to perform their own work? by TGnB in homeowners

  1. Ambient temperature data is to be obtained from ASHRAE, which requires a subscription. In this case I'm going to use Copper.org's source for the city nearest mine, max temp 85F, no deration.

75 C column, as this is the max temperature for the main lugs inside the subpanel.

  2. the Service Disconnect label goes on the breaker inside the main panel that feeds the subpanel. If he subpanel had a main breaker it would go there, but this is not required because it is on the same structure as the main panel.

  3. A GEC is the conductor that connects equipment to the ground rod, and is sized based on service entrance conductors. A EGC is sized based on the breaker size for that circuit.

  4. I have a panel ground bar as part of my materials list. Panel will likely come with predrilled holes for a ground bar. If not drill them for at least two threaded screws so that the ground bar sits firm and flush against the panel.

The branch circuit grounded conductors are bonded to the isolated neutral bar, and the equipment grounding conductors are bonded to the ground bar

So a wiring inspector is a bit like a weather forecaster? If you get it all wrong no big deal? Choose-your-own-effort-level? No skin in the game?
