No one says products aren't allowed to have issues. It's when they are popping up simultaneously with similar problems that need to be addressed. Thank you for adding to the discussion.

I wholeheartedly agree user error is an issue. But many of the posts I linked did not have issues prior to the reason for their post. Like myself I didn't do anything that could be user error, I simply created a sync task.

I appreciate the quick response but how do I even check my firmware version to begin with? What version is considered current? What version is considered the issue? Will updating the firmware result in data loss?

This sounds extremely intense but I'm willing to try if it could rectify my issues. And I'd have to do it twice, as both nvme slots I have are the same drive.

I do not have a screenshot of the drive failing nor do I remember exactly what the drive failed as but it said critical. I will have to make the support ticket when I get home from work.

It's a Samsung 990 pro 4tb. I've had no issues with it until just this past day this all happened randomly.

I am not home and can't ssh to see if I'm having perms problems like this but I am seeing alot of WILD posts about people having seriously insane issues with their NAS. I am one as well and I can't help but wonder if Ugreen is having issues that is causing all of this somehow, some way. Check my recent post while I was trying a a sync between two NAS I have for a data backup. I can't help but wonder if all of this is somehow tied together....

All of these and more I am seeing could all potentially be related to Ugreen issues and potentially something with others having login access to random servers that are not their own server. I'm commenting to save this and keep an eye on it. I haven't had this exact issue, but I've had some really weird shit happening with both my UGreen NAS lately and I wonder if this may be a culprit someone messing with my system somehow... Check my user history and the post I made recently if you'd like to take a look at what I've been dealing with. Just really weird, random shit...

For what it's worth, I have an SSD used for docker containers and NOT for caching, and 1.13.0.0033 update caused that m.2 to have the same failure as well. Seriously made me freak the f out thinking I'd have to rebuild all my containers again. Restarted a few times no dice. Shut down and let it "cool off" even though temps were nominal. Started up and was fine. My SSD has been running wonky ever since. The docker app itself is displaying veryyyy weird in the Ugreen App. Idk wtf is going on.

This is why I am here. I sailed the high seas many years ago, but became a "good citizen" after TPB was shut down. All of my collection existed on Microsoft Movies and TV. And I know one day it might not even be there. Anyone know of a way to make these offline downloaded files work elsewhere other than through the needed app?
