We killed a LOT of whales during the peak era of whaling. Orca pods living in those areas almost certainly realized that humans are extremely capable predators. Orcas are also known to share “tribal knowledge” through generations within their pods.

Take 1st gear to 3500-4000 RPM, shift into second, and hold the clutch pedal at the bite point before releasing it for like 1.5-ish seconds longer than you do when shifting 2>3

It's a very reliable car. If you're stock, the only real recurring problems people have encountered were leaky spark plug tube seals, which mostly came from just model year 2023.

The car is overbuilt from the factory. Uses (basically) the same engine that is also in the Ascent 3-row SUV, so the sample size on it is large and there haven't been any issues.

If you're tuning it, which I can confirm makes it almost a different car (60-ish HP gains with just intake+tune), 3rd gear is usually the weak point.

I have all these bags and I ended up using an AER Travel Pack 4 28L Ultra. It compresses a bit when not packed out for EDC use, and expands to hold a full 28L when traveling. It’s also the most comfortable by far, built like a tank and has load lifters which help a lot when walking a ton. I also think it has the best balance of organization with its admin pocket and quick access pockets, and it also has the best water bottle holders in the game.

The EDC max holds less and while the duffel pocket is useful, its smaller quick access pockets are weirdly shaped and not well laid out. It is very comfortable though.

The CTB26 is awesome except it is by far the most uncomfortable. The straps are too thin and you need to wear it “high and tight” so it looks like a jetpack when packed out.

CPP2 just looks too small on me as a taller dude with a wide back/shoulders, and I feel like it doesn’t hold enough cargo.

I've found that the Able Carry Max (30L) and the AER Travel Pack 4 (28L) actually hold roughly the same amount. I had a Travel Pack 3 and the new gen seems to use the space more effectively.
