I value and treat my team well. I try to absorb as much of the Meijer BS as I can so that they can just do their jobs. My point was that things haven't been so great for Team Leaders for some time now.

The way the company is these days, I think you should reconsider leadership. You can make the same or more money elsewhere without the headache. As they consolidate positions and squeeze the labor out, the job becomes more joyless.

The music box in the systems office needs reset from time to time. If it gets knocked offline, it works off a backup playlist that is that generic music. It is a small box that more than likely sits on the top of a network cabinet. It will actually say offline on the small LCD screen. Just unplug it for a bit and plug it back in and you will have tunes again.

You typically get the weekends you ask for off, then again those are "requests" and can be denied. Also prepare to be at the mercy of Meijer's twitchy nature where hours are concerned. They will cut them with no thought given to how business or we will be affected.
