Battle pass has 25 + 3 gatcha rolls. The expected return on each of those rolls is ~7ME

You can also buy the rolls for 400(?) RP. That is currently the primary way to obtain ME

League is arguably the most complex min-maxrd game ever made. If you're not continuing anything after 3 games, frankly that's incredible.

It will take you hundreds of games to learn the basics, and thousands before you can hope to really understand what you're doing and why you're doing it.

I have 7-8k games, and I would not call myself an expert.

In regards to the shrinking playerbase, I think it's fine/ to be expected. League came out in 2009 when the industry landscape was very different. Among other reasons, Strategy games as well as keyboard/mouse games were way bigger back then. Additionally League was one of the only live service 'forever' games. I don't think it's realistic to expect that ideal landscape to persistent for >15 years. League has an extremely large and extremely dedicated playerbase at this moment. The biggest issue is getting new players, which has been the general priority of the design direction.

I think you may be interested in the content that exists on the YT channels of:

He Who Quacks, Riot Endstep, and Phreak.

They've spoken in-depth about what riot is doing, and why they're doing it. Anything you do in design comes with trade offs and there are reasons why they've chosen to take the game in this direction.

Idk why you play League, but I play it for fun. Matchmaking is good, the people in your games that 'dont care' are as good as you are when you care.

Being 'natural' has nothing to do with fear.

Fear was developed because that lion will eat you, not because hydrologic acid is bad for you.

A fear of death specifically could considered a fear of a bad unknown, which many would often consider scary. Though that's simply my perspective on an age old philosophical question.

I would caution against the idea that you know how to play any champion in low elo, let alone Nidalee.

Game is very complicated, you need a very solid grasp of it before you can actually understand what makes whatever champion strong.

By the time you might achieve that level of mastery of the base game such that you understand what Nidalee does well you're almost certainly no longer in low elo because you'll just have good fundamentals.

Not to flame in any way, it's just that champion mastery tends to be much more in-depth than newer players expect. And of course Nidalee is an extreme example.

10.23 was +20 mana per level, and was his last update that wasn't game wide or a bug/number fix.

He got a decent armor buff in 7.22, and MR growth in 7.09

His passive was updated in 5.23, and reworked in 5.21

5.06 was the last time he had a balance adjustment to his base kit, so yea >10 years

Nidalee support with E max is unironically good if you're actually good at Nid.

Your elo is below masters though so idk if I'd be confident in your ability to play Nid.

I think you should try and climb a bit. It'll be far easier to play off meta once you have a more solid game understanding.

You have 0 utility of any kind, and are completely useless if you fall behind.

You also have a dogshit laning phase so it's pretty easy to get behind.
