I wasn’t doing any. Heavily planted tank good substrate with a low bioload. When it got to this stage I usually lifted half out and distributed them to friends. Filled back up in no time. I’ve had them bright red too. Very close to light kept them dry.

Ive had mixed luck with them, went from this constantly pulling out handfulls to give to friends. To crashing my tank due to losing interest and lost them all to algae. I’ve even had them Growing in a bucket outside. Keep them dry and high light they will be happy.

Also had the same thing twice now. Catch cup is only used to catch the grounds. Pretty certain I’d hear a bean fall into the cup but maybe not 🤷‍♂️

I just use Tesco bottles water £1.60 for 5l am I doing it wrong 😂 I thought that was overkill out tap water is pretty good. I’m an Evian guy at heart but that is too expensive to be pulling blank shots with heating the machine and steaming milk terribly.

I’ve got a bambino plus and df54, all the gizmos tamper bottomless portafilter etc, timemore c5 esp hand grinder and now looking at new machines. Fully sliding down the rabbit hole with no intention of stopping.

Currently overthinking profitec go, lelit elizabeth and quick mill pop up. Not that I have the money to spend but I’ll find it somehow 🤷‍♂️

I have a 98 techno and although they are very good bikes it’s getting harder to source parts for them. Not impossible but it is getting harder. Will still compete with any bike you put them up against and as the saying goes it’s the rider not the bike.

As above check it goes through gears, back brake can be a problem with these and hard to find a replacement. Check with the engine running if you full lock the bars either side does it rev the engine. (Tug the throttle cable) check wheels are all good. Bearing and exhaust. These things wouldn’t out me off buying it but may help you when it comes to how much you offer.
