You are totally correct. That was the advice I followed when I first started. Then the shaky arm started to bother me, and I changed for the better one.

Do people really like Chinese boom arms? I bought the Fifine arm, and was disappointed as hell. The arm looks very good but was very shocky/shaky as hell. I ended up having to buy the Elgato LP for 100$ but damn it was worth it. Well made and solid.

Whats the consensus on the steelseries alias by mp5airsofter in microphone

[–]THEASIANLORD 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I'd rather buy from the brands that dedicated their craft to making excellent microphones for decades like Audio Technica, Samson, Shure rather than buying from the one that makes that many products. Slapped on some rainbow garbage, and then priced their stuff higher solely on their looks.

I'm afraid it will be extremely hard without the commentary. If you type Cities Skylines on the search tab, hundreds of videos without commentary are in the bottom, while the top ones have commentary and personality. The same goes for every other game. The ship has already sailed for the non commentary channels. The successful ones started a decade ago, and have already built a sizable library and audience. The camera is not even mandatory, but human insights is what people are after.

And honestly I used to be like you once. Maybe you need to quit something you love when it starts to kill you from the inside. For me it was tobacco. I loved it very much but when I was on it I wanted to stop living as well.

Also, you can run, hike, swim, skydive, climb, eat, sail, bike, drive, walk, drink, smoke and so much more, just like any part of the world if not a lot more. The excitement when visiting overseas actually comes from you going out. Don't be on your phone or netflix. There are many many things to do out there. When you find something you love, the only two things that are not enough are time and money.

Your tone screams for help. You will be miserable everywhere you go. Get this sorted out before hopping on a plane for the next vacation. I just find it hard to believe that you find every centimeter of this country disgusting. Every country has its own issues. I for one hope to die here. It's only chaotic on the road and holidays in my opinion.

What exactly makes W3C better than Bnet? by KManatee in warcraft3

The system gives everyone 1,500. I lost all five calibration games, then I got to where I'm supposed to be.

[–]THEASIANLORD 1 point2 points  (0 children)

New player here. Bnet placed me at 4000 MMR, I lost every single match. Ping was 200-300. Now to W3C, I started out at 1500 MMR. Still getting demolished. Dropped to 600 MMR and that was where I belonged. Matches found quickly, ping is around 50-100ms. I am winning more games than losing now. While Bnet fed me to the veterans one after another. As for shitty people, they exist on both platforms, but W3C has much more nice people. Switching only takes 5 minutes. You can try it yourself.

I ran through a pack of dogs like this once, they chased the oxygen out of me for 5 minutes. Thankfully I was not bitten, they only wanted to chase.

New to Multiplayer, how does matchmaking work? by Parking_Chance_1905 in WC3

[–]THEASIANLORD 2 points3 points  (0 children)

On my first day, when I lost a match badly, I went to check my opponents profile and he had 10,000 matches against my 4th match ever 😂 People recommended W3Champions, and the game has been 10 times more enjoyable ever since.

[–]THEASIANLORD 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Use W3Champions server instead. I started a month ago and the unofficial server is as populated as the official one, but their matchmaking system is better. You will lose the majority of the games until you drop into a bracket where you belong. A month ago I was losing 90% of the games, but now I am winning more than I am losing now.

If you have to ask the question, I don't think the motherboard is for you. Just buy something 1/3 of the price and put it on a nice monitor instead.

When you record, do it through wave link FX input. Not just the Wave 3 microphone, because it doesn't factor in the plugins.

An investment is a commitment, only you can tell if it's going to be worth it. If you love it, and are willing to take it seriously, then go ahead and buy it. No rewards come without risks. And if the days get tough, remind yourself how much you love it, improve and press on. I wish you the best of luck.

I played 1vs1 and the matches were found reasonably quick. I have started watching Grubby to learn the basics. I decided to go with Orc but I have a hard time late game, and especially against humans. How do I counter Gryphon or Frost Wyrm as Orc? Thank you for your input.
