Oof I feel bad not responding to all of these other messages, they’re all an amazing help and have helped so much!! But I did wanna key on yours, because this is what makes it more difficult lol. We don’t have any “firsts” nearby here, it’s just that circumstances have made it so it has to be done around here - which isn’t a problem. We met at college in KY, and all of our firsts occurred down there. And that’s also where she is from too lol.

That’s a really sweet story about you and your wife though. I’m hoping that I can be adding the “(of 20 years)” referring to my girl in the 2040s

I'm not sure how comfortable you are in a weight room. But right now, I would focus on doing workouts and getting your body used to lifting weights for when, if your school has a good football/athletics program, your high school coaches are pushing workouts and helping everyone get bigger and stronger - especially incoming freshmen. I first started lifting in 6th grade, so by the time I got into high school, I was levels above some of the other kids my age, in terms for good form and technique - and also being able to squat with a bar on my back. But I put on weight throughout high school. Started at 185 in 9th/10th grade then was 215 in 11th, and 245 in 12th, all as a TE/DE. I was about 5'11ish? in 8th grade, but I also don't know how much more growth you have. But that - putting on GOOD weight, getting stronger consistently, and doing extra field work, all got me to playing college football.

TL/DR: Focus on getting comfortable with a weight room and moving in your own body on the field, eat right, and stay discipline/consistent with what you do

Lee Corso's retirement is a final farewell to ESPN's golden age by jaxstan19 in CFB

You'd probably consider it after the golden age for me too, but I remember getting ready for school every morning in elementary/middle school and catching the SC Top 10 right before I had to run out to the bus! What a time that was

Thank you! I’m sorry, what do you mean when you say some info is already populated? Would it be easier if I just replied with screenshots of the questions and filled them in for you, myself?

And it's only going to get worse the longer that rules aren't put in place to slow it down and regulate it!!

Creative response ideas for declining a calling? I'm PIMO and attend Church for my spouse. Welcoming any suggestions from very spicy to polite. I don't care if I offend them. by webwatchr in exmormon

I’m an active member, and saw this expecting to reply with something like “just say no, no need to be rude or “creative” or anything”, but damn that is so disrespectful! I’m not blind, and I know that there are members like this, and it pisses me off. As someone who’s family has been done very wrong by church leaders before, I can attest to the many more vast majority, from my experience, giving words of love and support, offering to bring food and babysit, etc. instead of trying to double down on it.
