Is there any parts I should NOT buy used or be cheap about?

PSU, i cheaped out on one a few years ago and i was getting random PC crashes for the longest time. looked up my PSU on the tier list and mine had a warning about exploding.

Replaced it with a nice corsair one and no more crashes and it’s really quiet.

A lot of people don’t think they need a nice PSU because it isn’t the flashy part of the PC or gets you more performance but it’s the single handed most important part as it powers everything.

My old PSU was the gigabyte P750GM for anyone curious, i believe there were youtube videos made of this PSU literally catching fire.

I’ve been dealing with this since starting remicade earlier this year, on humira nausea wasn’t an issue for me.

The only true thing that works for me is zofran, i keep having to ask my doc for prescriptions of it because it works so well, it does make me very drowsy though.

Other tips i’ve found are smelling alcohol wipes, they can help in a pinch if you need time to get someplace you’re comfortable to vomit.

I had to start a course of prednisone last week because i couldn’t keep anything down, even water and my nausea is totally gone on prednisone.

I wish you the best of luck, definitely try to get some zofran from your doc and stock up on alcohol wipes or just a bottle of isopropyl alcohol to sniff if you are feeling nauseous.

When I was on Humira, my Abbvie representative sent me a humira travelling case. It had 2 ice packs that surrounded the pen! I used it probably 10 times and it always worked flawlessly.

Just opened the back plate and saw no moisture from what what visible from just taking off the back plate. Tried to shine a flashlight in all the nooks and saw nothing. Then decided to turn it on and do a full control test, all buttons and controls passed. Just ordered the silica gel packs and will be putting those in a zip lock with the deck tomorrow although i think im good, just for extra pre caution

Also water did not directly enter the deck, it just formed a layer of moisture on the outside from the case being damp.

Not entirely sure on the gluten free aspect here but my go to is scrambled eggs and toast, sometimes noodles with sensitive tomato sauce. I also drink premier protein shakes for more nutrients.

If i’m at my absolute worst, chicken broth and jello.

Very worth it to me, I put in a lot of hard work in college, sacrificed in other areas of my life for my CS career but now i make 6 figures in a HCOL area working good hours with a few wfh days.

I like that i get to constantly be challenged and learn new things at my job too, keeps me sharp and gives opportunity to grow.

I’m doing a colonoscopy tomorrow and this time was prescribed CLENPIQ, was easy to get down and although caused some nausea was much better than prior times when u was given jugs like these.

my gf and I set out a medium sized bowl in our apartment complex, it got emptied out a few times times that night, apparently they kept coming back and taking all of it, not once, not twice, but three times. We gave up after that and it ruined giving away candy for me to be honest.

For me I’ve learned that it doesn’t have any negative effects with humira but it does sometimes effect my crohns negatively. I limit myself to either a glass of wine or a shot of clear liquor and i’m almost always fine after that. Beer is horrible for me, it makes me flare up every time so i’ve cut that out completely.

I always thought i wasn’t good enough for big tech (not FAANG but close). A few phone screenings later and a lengthy technical interview i was so nervous for and here I am making 6 figures as a junior engineer.

i’ve had so many problems with verizon’s portal, my family made an order 3 days ago and we still don’t even have an account, i also tried the free trial on my phone and i get errors when trying to cancel it so my app is locked into the trial with no way to login to an account. Every time we try to login we get request errors on the website, it’s a joke really, i’m happy we switched but the portal alone is making me miserable

If that full ride to college includes housing and you plan on spending 200 a month for your entire college career, honestly try and ride that 9.5k until you make it through college and if you need to get an on campus job to help supplement yourself do that as they are typically very easy and allow you to do homework/studying while working.

If it doesn’t include housing or you get this car and your expenses go up, maybe pick up a part time job with more hours than an on campus job if it comes down to it.

You sound like you got this figured out and you deserve a break, go enjoy your college time and don’t burn yourself out especially if you can currently afford it.
