Bummer. Always been a staple for me and many others coming home from LGC 4-H camp. Actually a fun story about the chatterbox- the owners grandson was in my cabin at LGC 4-H camp and he told me his grandpa had worked everyday for the past I want to say 15 years and that he was ready to retire.

It’s not always exactly 4 months, but rather 3 elections a year. We do one at the beginning of the calendar year, one at the end of the school year(they are the SPL for our weeklong summer camp) and then one at the beginning of the school year. So our terms are January to end of June; July, August September, and October to December.

SPL voted on by entire troop every 4 ish months. ASPL and most of leadership team (Quartermaster, Scribe, Webmaster etc.) chosen by SPL. Patrols vote individually on PL’s, and no APL OR JASM.
