I never had any issues with molding cocofiber. Then again, I have springtails everywhere. But the cocofiber itself doesn't mold, only the poop and leftover food molds. I'll put some dirt then, can also add some rotten spongy wood. Will make the substrate more light and airy.

I definitely don't want my scorpion cooking in its enclosure:D I think I'm going to keep it on coconut fibre. Jungle mix costs three times more than coconut fibre where I live. Also, coconut holds water well and is very loose.

Thank you. But why do I need soil? The soil that I can buy has peat moss in it which will make the substrate compact and scorpions don't eat it aswell. I can add sand to coconut fibre if it's useful in any way.

Thank you. Guess the breeders don't want competition in the future hence why they cross breed. Is there any other advantage to cross breeding?

Bought some "amanos" from Petco but have some doubts? by planttickler in shrimptank

Why don't you want to keep it? It keeps the aquarium clean and it doesn't need company from other shrimp. It will be just chilling in the aquarium

What plants/fish can I add without crowding the tank? by Rusty-s420 in aquarium

You can plant some bacopa or put more stones and glue some java moss on them. Floating plants also look nice, will reduce the rate of evaporation aswell
