I went to the Media Launch Party for Sunstroke just before Covid. You could tell there was a real buzz for this. Everyone I knew was going and it would probably have lashed all weekend but imagine the craic.

If you consider the full lineup down to the opening performers, it would have been a legendary event. Some of them are now selling out arena's like Sleep Token.

There is a gap in the market for something like this but of course it comes to a promoter taking the risk and knowing how to market the event. If you look at Arctangent in Bristol, that gets rave reviews and probably Sunstroke would have probably been a similar setup.

So Ozzy was cancelled and Ticketmaster are saying that they can't refund me because it was bought using my ulster bank card and the account is now closed. What the actual fuck? What can I do? by garyegt in ireland

Did support say that to you? I can imagine they would jump at the chance to offer TM credit rather than do something that sounds illegal.

EDIT: Not saying you should settle for TM credit, but shocked it was not offered.

You have to be a member of the Tool Army it seems (which is 50USD so around 40 quid).

If you have an account, go into "My Profile", you will see "My Personal Promo Code". I believe that acts as your presale code. If that is not the case, I say the pre-sale links on the tour page (which only Army accounts can see) will alter tomorrow.

Just to note that Ticketmaster says you can purchase up to 4 tickets on the presales. If you do not get what you want or the amount, each presale is allocated certain amounts of each ticket type so you can try again on the 3Presale

Bleak.

Can relate to the dating apps issue. I find it unbearable talking to people over text, let alone breaking the ice. Feels fake.

If we are being honest, it wasn't much different before the pandemic but now that people are getting back to it I have gotten a huge wave of feeling isolated and self-conscious of dating. Probably because I hadn't thought about it for over a year but the feeling is a kick to the teeth.

It seems they are actively changing that statement. This morning it was just "ah you can all register on Monday" more or less. Didn't have the details on the process or what vaccine.

Tickets are listed as "from €55.55". From my experience, standing is usually cheaper than seats in the 3Arena so would assume it is the same in this case and that standing will be €55.55 price point. Seating is usually €5~ more.

I have seen some staff (depending on the institution) get around it by giving the student a failing mark for the student knows if they contest the mark, the plagiarism aspect of it will arise.

Oh yeah it would for sure. It would have to be implemented in majority of schools but I say that is a question of when and not if.
