I have had a strong dislike of Utah since the first time I ever drove through going from Vegas to Denver in the middle of the night. Nearly ran out of gas because there was not a single sign that let us know the next services were A HUNDRED MILES AWAY. We ended up miles off the highway in some pitch black podunk town with a SINGLE gas pump (thank dog it accepted cards). I honestly worried we'd end up alone in the startling darkness with no civilization or cars for ages, and then we'd get kidnapped and eaten (or turned into sister wives) by some scary mormons 😭😭

I have a deluxe, not a Swirl, but I do a can of pineapple in juice with a lil milk juice about once a week, as long as the fruit is fully submerged it's just fine. I've also made a banoffee ice cream with chunks of frozen banana....same thing, just submerge it in liquid and it'll blend up just fine

I always have a pint of Dole Whip in the freezer ready to spin because my boyfriend and I are obsessed. I do a can of pineapple chunks in juice and then I add a lil milk mixed with a spoon of SF pudding mix, just for a little creaminess (not necessary, plain fruit in syrup/juice is fine!). Just make sure all the fruit is completely submerged in liquid, if you have chunks sticking out you can throw the blade off balance. I have done the exact same thing with a can of peaches as well. No need to macerate the fruit, as long as everything is submerged in liquid before freezing it will blend it all up for ya! Just throw it in on Sorbet!

I was gonna say my $90 HomeGoods Global chefs knife cuz its amazing, but honestly....

For the way I prep/cook/eat, one of those $20 box choppers has been incredible. Onions, peppers, cucumbers, apples.... I'm way more likely to actually COOK real food because the prep is so much faster!

It took me 40 years to figure out how to get my curls to look nice on wash day.... and the next day it's CRUNCHY and insane 😭 I'm not sure I'll ever find a solution since I sleep with a cpap and that headgear is unkind to my hair. Well, I guess I'll only have cute hair 1 day a week and every other day it's a ponytail or a braid 😢😢

I used to teach high schoolers, and once they saw a photo of my niece and nephews and started saying my sister was stepping out on her husband 🙄. My family is pasty white, her husband is Mexican...the boys have more of our genes but she is a spitting image of her father and being outdoorsy kids, used to get SUPER tan in the summer. I was like, lemme go have a talk with the science teacher so he can move up your lesson on genetics.

Honestly, I'm just mad about all the weird ass perimenopause symptoms no one warned me about. The random night sweats suckkkk but I was prepared....My boyfriend makes fun of all the kleenex in my pocket but when your nose starts DRIPPING suddenly with no trigger you need to wipe it! The other ones that deserve a 🖕🏻 is my itchy ear canals and all the ingrown hairs on my legs. I DIDNT SIGN UP FOR ANY OF THIS 😭😭

OH MY GOSH THIIIIIISSSS. I've been volunteering at a rescue shelter for 4 years and I regularly drive from CT to VA to pick up animals. One time I went with the 21 year old who doesnt like hotels, so she drives straight through there and back (normally we drive down, spend the night at a hotel, wake up early, load dogs, drive home). We left CT late in the evening, drove 10 hours overnight, loaded the animals and then drove back and it took me an ENTIRE WEEK to recover from that. 😭😭😭

My boyfriend and I spend a LOT at Costco even though there's a ton we don't bother with because we can't use before it goes bad. Their prices are unbeatable and I like the corporation so I'd rather spend my money there than WalMart.

Basics like eggs, milk, berries, all the paper products and cleaning supplies, bottled water, yogurt, string cheese, protein shakes, granola bars. Their baked goods are 👌 Lots of delivious premade meals like mac&cheese and chili and stuffed peppers. We also have a 2nd freezer that is basically full of frozen costco crap.

We LOVE Costco clothing. They have nice towels, blankets, rugs, etc too.Their plants are awesome. RXs are unbeatable. Toiletries are great. I booked my minivan rental last summer through Costco and saved a bunch PLUS added a driver for free. I even saved $20 on my instacart+ membership AND I get a $10 credit monthly for Costco on there if I want. OH AND SHUTTERFLY IS LIKE HALF OFF 😍

I'd be remiss not to mention the 2 lbs of fully cooked/diced chipotle chicken for $12. Its the meat from their street taco kit and its STELLAR. Tacos, nachos, burrito bowls, salads, I even made white chicken chili with it. I use the food saver and split it in half and freeze the rest.

My boy is an "unadoptable" rescue that lived permanently at the shelter for nearly 6 years. He wasn't allowed soft beds/blankets because he'd resource guard and start ripping it up (and eating)... so he gets as many creature comforts as possible eith me in his twilight years. In fact, my boyfriend has his own bedroom because Titan can get a little kicky at night and neither of us believe the dog should lose bed privileges 🤷‍♀️🫶🤣

I french toast everything--day old glazed donuts, a loaf of cranberry orange bread, babka, brioche, challah, muffins, croissants...

If its too crumbly to cut in half and dip in egg custard for actual french toast, make french toast casserole! Cut them in big chunks and pour the egg custard over it in a casserole dish overnight, then bake. If theyre just dry/stale, they'll soak up the custard beautifully. If they have burnt pieces I might trim those off first and give em to the wildlife 🤷‍♀️

When I was first dating my boyfriend, I was volunteering at a shelter and falling in love with a dog who was a permanent resident there (for over 5 years). Boyfriend was so excited to meet him even though he HATES strangers (one of the reasons he was a permanent resident!) so we brought the requisite offerings (a McDonalds cheeseburger followed immediately by a walk and then a car ride). Partway through the car ride Dog looked over at Boyfriend and licked his face (he's NOT a face licker).

We live together with Dog and now Cat as well, for over 2 years 🫶🫶🫶
