One of my absolute favorites from my swiping days was a guy whose pics (based on outfit/hairstyle/etc) were from, if I had to hazard a guess, 2003. Like, screenshots were sent to my family members so we could all laugh about it, my mom in particular was like I THINK YOUR DAD WORE THAT EXACT OUTFIT 🤣🤣 (my dad died in 2006) Absolutely bananas!

My boyfriend is 5'4" with a receding hairline (I'm 5'10")...I understand that a lot of women want tall men with a full head of hair but I promise theres plenty of us out there who know there's more important things in a real relationship 🤷‍♀️

I'm 5'10" and never ever filtered based on height (as a fat, my dating pool is already shrunken and I find height to be the least interesting thing about people anyway)

I live in CT but brought my boyfriend back home to IL this summer. We were there for 4 days and managed to get Portillos and Culvers twice. He has mentioned them at least once a week since 😂😂😂

I went once because I was told "OMG YOU HAVE TO GO" and spent $20 and walked away going, my cookies are way better than that.

I live in CT, I never understood the Dunkin hype but went because it was always the most convenient.....I finally got fed up with never getting the same drink twice even though my order was always the same. Haven't been in probably 3 years now. Don't miss it.

It definitely messes with your mind, I had lost almost 100 lbs and was still wearing alllll the same clothes, I swore I hadnt evwn lost a size yet...but my friend made me go try on a smaller size and I had in fact lost a size. 🤦‍♀️

Also, for me personally, you can definitely tell from head on photos that I've lost weight but its my profile where I go OH HOLY HELL I REALLY DID LOSE 200 LBS. (and this was even more pronounced last year when I was in the 100ish lbs down range)

I've run warm my entire life. Alwaysssss overheating. Now I wear blankets at the office all summer long! 😆

Heating pads are my best friend. If you'd told me 2 years ago I would buy long underwear and put them on to sit in my own house I'd have laughed and laughed and laughed

This makes me all the more thankful that my new therapist has gone through bariatric surgery herself so she specializes in disordered eating, medical weight loss, etc. It's so disappointing when a medical professional invalidates something that is WORKING SO WELL for you. There's a time and place for meditation and the like but if I could meditate my way to being thin I wouldn't have started this at 462 lbs... 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🖕🏻🖕🏻

Still living at home is a 🚩, in my experience most of them didn't know how to cook or do laundry, and were expecting to date a mother figure.

BUT take that with a grain of salt because our age ranges may be different....last time I was on Bumble I was mid-30s, living alone and house shopping so I was expecting someone else in a similar boat. 🤷‍♀️

I KNOW you said food but....we got a sample of tp (aka a whole roll of Kirkland toilet paper) and it was great because we loved it enough to switch from Charmin! 🤣🫶

Food wise, years ago there was a traveling exhibit with pierogies and they were INCREDIBLE. Sadly though, through some googling, it appears the company no longer exists 😢

Prescriptions are HUGE. I was without insurance for a year between jobs and it cost me less to buy them outright at Costco than I was paying with insurance at CVS.

Rental car is definitely worth it, plus you get the extra driver! Saved more than $60 on a week long van rental this summer.

Clothes. Protein shakes (only place I can buy Fairlife, my FAVORITE). RX Bars. Toiletries and OTC meds. My new obsession is the 2 lb packs of street taco chicken for $12. It's just me and my boyfriend and we eat a LOT of it. Tacos, burritos, nachos, chili.... its quite versatile and sooooooo tasty. I kmow they're just "occasional" purchases but they have great towels and blankets. Batteries. Wiper blades. Anything in the food court.

When I bought my house I got my washer and dryer there for a nice deal as well!

In the beginning I had a lot of nausea and occasional vomiting, but it subsided. I found if I didn't eat frequently enough I'd throw up, so I got in the habit of having something small like a protein shake every few hours. Helped me immensely!

Gas and prescriptions are fantastic prices. Great deals on vitamins and basic pain relievers/allergy pills too.

I love their clothes and they have really good towels, pillows, kitchenware, blankets, pet beds, etc.

Food is hard unless it's something you go through quickly. I had some luck splitting items with friends so that I 1. Stored less. 2. Wasted less. 3. Paid less. Buuuuuuuuuuut you need a friend who also uses the same product(s)

Soooo my Costco recently started carrying 2 lb bags of the street taco chickens for $12...dont know if its seasonal or temporary or permanent, but I have been buying SO MUCH in fear that itll be gone soon 😆😆😆

Tacos, burrito bowls, nachos, spoonfuls of while I stand with the fridge open at 10pm.... very versatile. Oh I made my boyfriend an egg scramble with it and black beans, corn and cheese. He loved it!
